74 Chevy Nova Update 8 - Reapplying Hi build Primer

After block sanding I needed to apply the hi build primer a second time. Basically the begining of the second prime and block process.

I reprimed and blocked the car for the 3rd time. Than Sprayed the car (the 4th time painting the car) with the Final prime. Not over yet!

I just show the dents I had on the passenger side quarter panel of my 74 Nova resto project. I used Metal 2 Metal body filler.

Finally some COLOR! I show the jamb painting from masking to complete. Velocity Red Mica is the color and its Urethane Base with Clear Coat. Red Oxide Sealer was used as well to help with overage.

Heres some more jamb painting. I painted the inner fenders and the radiator support. I also started on the fenders and show the side marker delete I did to match the quarter panels.

Painted my Nova with Epoxy Primer to protect the bare metal. 3 coats done in my garage.

I did the first block sanding of the Hi Build primer. Heres the results. This shows all the highs and lows in the body work. All imperfections are block sanded down leaving a flatter surface. I also show the blocks I used.

Took off all of the E-coating down to bare metal on the Cowl hood. Did my minor body work and prepped for paint. With this being the last panel, I have officially taken the entire car down to bare metal!! (Every body panel)
