2011 Bakersfield March Meet Tony Noto Grumpy's Toy Crash
Real bummer this car crashed. Tony Noto in his 1974 Grumpy's Toy Vega Pro Stock replica. This was hands down my favorite car at the March Meet. My dad had a Popular Hot Rodding centerfold of this car in my room when I was a kid. Let's hope Tony will rebuild...I want to see more Nostalgia Pro Stock cars like this one with the vintage wheels and dry hops (something you don't see anymore). I hope everyone likes my little Diamond P replay tribute.

1977 Vega: 7000 RPM Launch
This is a 1977 Chevy Vega. It actually has a 77' front end and a 73' back end. It has turbo heads, 625 hp, Car weight 2110, Titanium engine valve, Bored out 60, 15:1 Compression, Roller Cam Shaft, 617 Dana 60 rear with spool, Aluminum Piston Rods, Cheetah Shifter, Power glide with aluminum drums super stock 1.94 first gear. It ran a 9.51 at 140 mph in this video.

The car has gone 9.03 @152 but i dont have video of it (but i do have the timeslip). its registered, inspected thru the mufflers on D.O.T tires. its a SMALL BLOCK CHEVY with a 200hp shot of N.O.S. (it goes 9.70s on motor) all steel but the 'glass hood (yes that Is a newspaper box for a hood scoop (it was free & it works) the video was recorded @ Beaversprings Dragway in Pa. the only reason i dont have a license plate on it (in the video) is because thats where the 'chute mounts. (& yes i cruise ALL the time)
