A great race with six lead changes, bump drafting, lots of oversteer and tight clean racing. This was a fight till almost the last lap at Mission's River's Edge Roadcourse in Mission BC. This was also the Sports Car Club of British Columbia's 60th Anniversary Weekend on April 14th 2011.
Best parts on the video:
6:15(Very sideways entering turn 4)
11:03 (Loosing the back end on turn 1 allowing Mark to get along side)
13:30 (Catching up to back markers and bump drafting on the main straight)
15:20 (The intense battle begins and we start pushing the cars to the ragged edge till the chequered flag)
After the battle Mark and I both drove our cars home on public streets!

Mission Raceway Track Notes & Walkthrough
A lap of Mission Raceway (River's Edge) in my 1992 Acura Integra GS-R.
It's my best lap to date there, and I've included some notes for driving
each corner of the track.
I drove this lap during the Honda Challenge race on September 20, 2009.

BMW 1M: Mission Raceway Park UBCSCC trackday #2
UBC Sports Car Club Track day #2.
This was filmed in the third session.
My lap time was significantly slower due to "having" to leave my traction
control on. (although I put it into MDM mode)
Car not accelerating when I want it to sucks. Lesson: Don't lap with
traction control on.
The best lap time in this session was only 1:19.52.

My footwork in the Spec Miata race car at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The
car is prepared by Ed Railton and Premier Auto Service.
This footage was taken at the end of a long test day, during which I
seriously burned off my tires. As a result it was hard to get a 1:51 lap
time, which is about 2-3 seconds slower than it should have been. I did
mid-1:48s when I got fresher rubber. In the video I'm feathering the
throttle more than usual.
You'll notice the shift from 2nd to 3rd is slower. The 3rd gear synchro is
weak in first generation Miatas, and if you shift too fast it hurts the
You'll also notice copious left-foot braking in turns 3 and 10. I start the
video during braking for turn 11.
I was surprised I could find a spot for the Contour down there, but it's
got a lot of mounting options and it was pretty simple to get a good angle.
Some quick settings changes on the lap top and it was good to go.
I like watching the dirt in the footwell shooting back and forth. With
nearly 1.5 G, it's like upending a bucket.
