A great race with six lead changes, bump drafting, lots of oversteer and tight clean racing. This was a fight till almost the last lap at Mission's River's Edge Roadcourse in Mission BC. This was also the Sports Car Club of British Columbia's 60th Anniversary Weekend on April 14th 2011.
Best parts on the video:
6:15(Very sideways entering turn 4)
11:03 (Loosing the back end on turn 1 allowing Mark to get along side)
13:30 (Catching up to back markers and bump drafting on the main straight)
15:20 (The intense battle begins and we start pushing the cars to the ragged edge till the chequered flag)
After the battle Mark and I both drove our cars home on public streets!
2008 Subaru STi at Mission Raceway (Track Day)
A few laps around Mission with at a VCMC club track day. The car is stock
other than a front sway bar and a new set of Hawk HP+ pads all round. The
stock tires are a little tired after a full day, this was the last session.
I try to keep infront of a GTR but there is just no way. Thanks to
Michael for the great camera and editing.

Ma5da Donington 8th May Mk1 Race 2 Car 91
Second Race of the weekend and starting from 2nd on the grid.
A disasterous first lap followed where I was eased onto the grass on the
outside of the first corner losing several places.
Later in the lap I make accidental contact with car 13 as I'm unable to
see/steer at the crucial moment as my windescreen (and the track!) get gets
completly plastered in mud from a car in front. Suddenly not being able to
see mid corner was pretty scary!
Im very sorry car 13, this certainly wasn't intentional contact.
After that disasterous first lap I then manage to get back to 5th place by
the end of the race from 14th.
Mission Raceway Track Day - Mazda3
This is my Mazda3 out at the UBCSCC Track Day II on July 18th '08, at
Mission Raceway - Rivers' Edge Road Course in BC, Canada.
This is my second ever time on the track, and I was pleasantly surprised at
how the little grocery getter did out there.

Mission Raceway Track Notes & Walkthrough
A lap of Mission Raceway (River's Edge) in my 1992 Acura Integra GS-R.
It's my best lap to date there, and I've included some notes for driving
each corner of the track.
I drove this lap during the Honda Challenge race on September 20, 2009.

Road America - 2003 SCCA Pro Racing Spec Miata Cup
Without the help of a drafting partner, Webb still managed to post a time
that put him 18th on the grid for Sunday morning's race. By concentrating
on smooth driving and consistent lap times, Webb was able to make the most
of the short seven-lap race, finishing in 14th position, right behind San
Dimas Auto Racing teammates Andrew Fernandez and Johnny Kanavas.
Lap of Mission Raceway Park
1:15.2 lap of Mission Raceway. Porsche 996 GT3 on fresh Hoosiers. Car is
good for 1:14's - just need to work on the nut behind the wheel. :)
Thanks to Jeff Alton and Steve Paquette for putting on great track days.
BIG thanks to Kees Nierop for his excellent coaching. I couldn't have done
this without you!
Race car driver heel-toe & footwork - Spec Miata
Click here to see how the race went that weekend:
My footwork in the Spec Miata race car at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The
car is prepared by Ed Railton and Premier Auto Service.
This footage was taken at the end of a long test day, during which I
seriously burned off my tires. As a result it was hard to get a 1:51 lap
time, which is about 2-3 seconds slower than it should have been. I did
mid-1:48s when I got fresher rubber. In the video I'm feathering the
throttle more than usual.
You'll notice the shift from 2nd to 3rd is slower. The 3rd gear synchro is
weak in first generation Miatas, and if you shift too fast it hurts the
You'll also notice copious left-foot braking in turns 3 and 10. I start the
video during braking for turn 11.
I was surprised I could find a spot for the Contour down there, but it's
got a lot of mounting options and it was pretty simple to get a good angle.
Some quick settings changes on the lap top and it was good to go.
I like watching the dirt in the footwell shooting back and forth. With
nearly 1.5 G, it's like upending a bucket.
