1963 Cadillacs Road Test
In overall terms the 1963 Cadillac was essentially the same as the previous
year. Exterior changes imparted a bolder and longer look. Hoods and deck
lids were redesigned. The front fenders projected 4.625 inches further
forward than in 1962 while the tailfins were trimmed down somewhat to
provide a lower profile. Body side sculpturing was entirely eliminated. The
slightly V-shaped radiator grille was taller and now incorporated outer
extensions that swept below the flush-fender dual headlamps. Smaller
circular front parking lamps were mounted in those extensions. A De Ville
signature script was incorporated above the lower beltline molding near the
rear of the body. A total of 143 options including bucket seats with wool,
leather or nylon upholstery fabrics and wood veneer facings on dash, doors
and seatbacks, set an all-time record for interior appointment choices.
Standard equipment was the same as the previous year.
The engine was entirely changed, though the displacement and output
remained the same, 390 cu in (6.4 l) and 325 hp (242 kW)
1959 Cadillac El Dorado Brougham - Restoration Project Part II
In 1959 the Cadillac division of General Motors was locked in a head to
head battle with the Lincoln division of Ford in an attempt to show the
world who could build the most luxurious automobile on the market. The
result of this was a partnership with Pininfarina of Italy to build 99
units of the top of the line Cadillac El Dorado Brougham. With features
and functionality unheard of in automobiles of the day this car was a
revolution when it was introduced. This second video showcases the
restoration of the car and shows all the components fully removed from the
chassis so the work may progress in parallel on all areas of the El Dorado.
We also get to hear from the restoration team at Rodz.

Mikee's 1963 Cadillac TimeLapse
Started this time lapse about 1/3 the way through the thrash but you get
the idea. We spent a month of nights and weekends to do all the bodywork
and paint. Body is just in black sealer until after VLV this weekend and
then it will get the final base/clear but the roof will stay in the green

1981 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance - start-up and test drive
My own "test drive" video of my 1981 Cadillac as a tribute to the ones I
watched when searching for my own hobby car.
I bought this car from http://www.caliautobrokers.com in 2009 and imported
it to Finland myself. It is essentially in original, unrestored condition,
with only minor repairs done by me. All the accessories etc. work.
Update: I was asked for the exact location the video was filmed in. It's
here (Google Maps): http://tinyurl.com/harjutie
1964 CADILLAC DEVILLE 2-DOOR HARDTOP, WHAT YOU GET FOR $5,386
A revised Cadillac engine this year included a lighter and stronger
crankshaft and a stiffer block wighing fifty pounds less. Displacement
went from 390 cid to 429, still a 325 bhp. 1964 was the year that GM
styled hardtop steel roofs that resembled a convertible top. GM also
developed a convertible roof and window closing feature when rain would
start to fall. Talk about a luxury car option! Beside the more powerful
engine, the accessories included power steering, power brakes, power
windows, power locks, air conditioning, power radio antenna, power seats,
AM radio, a full set of gauges excluding a tachometer, and leather / cloth
interior. So, in 1964 this is what $ 5,386 would get you - a Cadillac
hardtop, the luxury car that was the " Standard of the World ". Thanks
very much for viewing this original surviving Cadillac DeVille hardtop.

1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour
The owner of this car graciously let me make this video, he was selling it
so I'll put the contact info at the bottom of the description. I was so
ecstatic to be able to check out one of these cars, I've wanted one since I
got my drivers liscense haha. A classic american drop top designed for
luxury, comfort, and gorgeous styling for back in the day. A nice look at
what things used to be in American car culture. In this video I give a
full in depth tour of 1976 Cadillac Eldorado. I take viewers on a close
look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details,
over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle
itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see
how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car
designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
The owner's name is Mr. Ed Keller, all questions about price and what not
should be directed to him
