1963 Cadillacs Road Test
In overall terms the 1963 Cadillac was essentially the same as the previous
year. Exterior changes imparted a bolder and longer look. Hoods and deck
lids were redesigned. The front fenders projected 4.625 inches further
forward than in 1962 while the tailfins were trimmed down somewhat to
provide a lower profile. Body side sculpturing was entirely eliminated. The
slightly V-shaped radiator grille was taller and now incorporated outer
extensions that swept below the flush-fender dual headlamps. Smaller
circular front parking lamps were mounted in those extensions. A De Ville
signature script was incorporated above the lower beltline molding near the
rear of the body. A total of 143 options including bucket seats with wool,
leather or nylon upholstery fabrics and wood veneer facings on dash, doors
and seatbacks, set an all-time record for interior appointment choices.
Standard equipment was the same as the previous year.
The engine was entirely changed, though the displacement and output
remained the same, 390 cu in (6.4 l) and 325 hp (242 kW)
1950 Cadillac Fleetwood
- Owned by ONE Family Since New!
- Includes Original Invoice & Other Documents!
- 331ci 8 Cylinder
- Automatic Transmission
- Actual Mileage Arizona Title!
MotoeXotica Classic Cars is now offering this classic and rarely seen 1950
Cadillac Fleetwood. This stately Cadillac still looks just as good today on
the road as it did over 60 years ago! You can only appreciate our heritage
of this elegantly designed car with its pronounced fenders and hood and the
boldness the chrome adds. This is a very special classic as it has only
been owned by ONE family since new and passed generation to generation! The
last owner's grandfather bought the car brand new from a dealership in
Mississippi in 1952. The original "Cadillac Identification Tag" is still
intact right behind the hood latch under the hood and we even have the
original invoice from when the vehicle was bought! Fast forward 20 years
later, the owner's grandfather passed away and the car was passed on to her
father by right of inheritance. Her father then drove the car to Long
Beach, California where it was enjoyed and properly stored in a garage. 16
years pass and her father passes away and she inherits the car through
means of the family trust and kept it until 2014. Who doesn't love a
beautiful car with a story?!
The nostalgic 50s body, complete with tons of beautiful lines, is in great
shape for its age. The white paint is in good shape, showing only minor
imperfections such as some small rock chips and some edge chips, more than
likely from age. The chrome is straight and looks great with a brilliant
shine. Overall, this gorgeous sedan shows very well to be 64 years old!
The interior is also in great shape. The cloth seats are in wonderful
condition and show no major signs of wear or tear. The carpet, headliners
and door panels are also in good condition with the door panels showing
only minor imperfections. The dashboard is in awesome shape and shows no
signs of cracking or fading. The dash houses a set of original gauges that
look great! There is an AM radio and clock as well. It should be noted that
the horn and wipers are inoperable.
Under the hood, you'll find a 331 cubic inch Cadillac V8. This particular
engine is capable of up to 160 horsepower, has a cast iron
block and a two barrel carburetor. Mated to the engine is an automatic
transmission. The car sits elegantly upon a set of 15″ steel wheels with
Cadillac hubcaps. The 8.20-15 4 ply white wall tires hug the wheels snug
and really set off the classic look to this car.
This is a gorgeous, one family Cadillac and it would make an excellent
Sunday driver for its next family! The car is very solid overall and drives
like the land yacht that it is -- impressive! Included with the purchase of
this vehicle is an original Cadillac Ownership Guide, the original
dealership invoice and an assortment of receipts and literature.
The VIN is 506016011 and the mileage currently shows 95,637. It is being
sold on a clean and clear, ACTUAL mileage Arizona title. GET OUT AND
1965 Cadillac Fleetwood Crm
The Fleetwood was three and a half inches longer than the other
Cadillacs..and used that to advantage in the luxurious interior. Only the
best fabrics and leather..
One of the accessories on this car is speed control, not just a
buzzer...back in those days it was a complicated affair. Note also the
unusual pattern of the whitewall tires...the wide center stripe flanked by
two narrow stripes is correct for the car.
1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
Since most everyone knows I'm a huge fan of these older GM luxury sedans
(being I just purchased a 1995 buick roadmaster limited) I always try to
film these as well as other B and D bodies whenever I get the chance, to
try and preserve these legendary american sedans through video for
everyones enjoyment :) In this video I give a full in depth review of the
1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. I take viewers on a close look through
the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing
of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also
show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds
under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give
others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

1964 CADILLAC DEVILLE 2-DOOR HARDTOP, WHAT YOU GET FOR $5,386
A revised Cadillac engine this year included a lighter and stronger
crankshaft and a stiffer block wighing fifty pounds less. Displacement
went from 390 cid to 429, still a 325 bhp. 1964 was the year that GM
styled hardtop steel roofs that resembled a convertible top. GM also
developed a convertible roof and window closing feature when rain would
start to fall. Talk about a luxury car option! Beside the more powerful
engine, the accessories included power steering, power brakes, power
windows, power locks, air conditioning, power radio antenna, power seats,
AM radio, a full set of gauges excluding a tachometer, and leather / cloth
interior. So, in 1964 this is what $ 5,386 would get you - a Cadillac
hardtop, the luxury car that was the " Standard of the World ". Thanks
very much for viewing this original surviving Cadillac DeVille hardtop.
