Larry Larson's 6 second Nova Cruising the Strip in Vegas 1.mov
Bangshift.com brings you Larry Larson's infamous cruise down Las Vegas Blvd following his historic 6.93/211 pass at the PSCA Street Car Super Nationals in Las Vegas on November 21, 2009. To get ready to drive the car on the street, all we did was add air to the tires, pack the chutes, fill it with pump gas, take off the stickers on the windows, and hit the key. This Lenco equpped beast really is a street car. The pass on the video is the 6.96 run from early on Saturday. The 6.93 is also available to view at http://bangshift.com/blog/Video-In-Car-and-On-Car-Footage-of-Larry-Larson-s-6.93-Second-Quarter-Mile-in-a-Street-Driven-Nova.html as is a full feature on the car. Enjoy.
Larry Larson Runs 6's.mov
BangShift.com presents Larry Larson's 2009 Drag Week winning '66 Chevy II running 6.934 at 211.59 mph in Las Vegas at the PSCA Street Car Supernationals. This video shows you all the angles, from inside, underneath the bumper, and outside the car. Larry's car was unchanged from it's Drag Week trim, and had only been outfitted with a new pair of Hoosier DOT legal "slicks". Over the 4 day event, Larry ran 6.99, 7.00, 6.96, and finally 6.93. After the 6.93 on Saturday evening, we added air to the tires, packed the chutes, filled it with pump gas, and cruised the strip for about 4 hours while shooting video and photos. Stay tuned at www.BangShift.com for a feature on Larry's car along with more killer 6 second and cruising video.
The 2012 Fastest Street Car in America! - HOT ROD Unlimited Episode 19
This episode of HOT ROD Unlimited screams with action from 200-mph street cars at one of the most grueling events in all of motorsports: HOT ROD Drag Week, presented by Gear Vendors. This is the most brutal test anywhere of real drag-racing, street-driven cars, as the competitors hit the road for 1,400 miles to race five times at four different drag strips in five days in a battle to post the lowest average elapsed time at the end of the week. The winner is crowned the HOT ROD Fastest Street Car in America. In this video, we'll follow the chase for that title in Drag Week's most outrageous class, called Unlimited. Imagine cars that run 7 seconds in the quarter mile, in excess of 200 mph, and then drive on public roads—in the rain, over potholes, whatever it takes—to make it to the next race day to do it again. Five times. Ever see a 2,800-horsepower car hauling its own trailer full of tools and parts? You will here. When you wonder how the staff of HOT ROD could ever make the statement that a Lamborghini Aventador "isn't $400,000 fast," this video will prove why with legit American street cars in a battle of speed and survival.
HOT ROD Unlimited appears every other Friday on the new Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend

Super car driver idiots [NO pics, only videos]
I got bored with all the "super car crashes"-videos here on YouTube that only contained PICTURES, CRAPPY MUSIC or/and clips of pure racing cars on official racing events.
This compilation DOES NOT include pure racing cars on official racing events - only real life FAILures on the STREETS, made by people with more money than driving skills...
(Though, even the best car drivers can crash too of course.)
LMC Super Cuda 200 MPH!
log onto www.legendarymotorcar.com to see photos of the build!
Lady Luck was on our side last week as the Legendary Team made its way to the Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea, Michigan.
An all night drive through a snow storm saw us pull into the proving grounds parking lot at the crack of dawn. It was cold and overcast but no sign of rain or snow. It looked like the weather would cooperate, the next hurdle was having MOPAR engineers check out the Cuda. The car passed with flying colors, testament to the sweat and dedication put in by everyone at Legendary over the last year.
Then it was off to the black lake for some real world handling tests in preparation for the 4.75 mile oval and a crack a breaking the 200 mph mark.
Both the Cuda and the Enzo look impressive on the track but once the sun began to come out late that morning the setting was perfect for our high speed run. I think we captured some spectacular footage of a once in a life time event.
After a brief mishap, when the Cuda lost its windshield trim at 190 mph, Peter was ready to go. We could hear the Cuda coming long before we could see her, as the cars went by they sounded like jet fighters. Top speed 208 mph with still some leftwe did it!
Fastest Street Car 8 second Impala 1/4 mile Drag Racing
Sit down, hang on, and get ready for a 154 mph pass in Pat Spangenberg's legendary 1966 Impala Super Sport. Facts: it weighs 4,000 lbs, it has stock suspension, and runs a 3" Exhaust system with turbo mufflers so it is so quite that you could drive the thing to church. Does this sound like a car that runs in the 8's? Oh ya' and it is street driven !!!
