2013 Cadillac XTS vs 2014 Chevy Impala

*READ ABOUT THEM BELOW CADILLAC XTS INFO: Cadillac unveiled the 2013 XTS, the newest addition to the Cadillac luxury sedan lineup. It arrives in showrooms in U.S. and Canadian showrooms in the spring of 2012 as the most technologically advanced production car in the brand's history. Larger than the CTS, the new Cadillac XTS delivers the space, elegance and dramatic presence that are Cadillac signatures, but with entirely new and technically advanced methods tuned for a new generation of luxury customers. It also marks the debut of CUE, a comprehensive in-vehicle experience that merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls and commands for information and media control. In addition to the CUE interface and connectivity, many other advanced technologies are integral to the new XTS. It will be the only luxury sedan with standard Magnetic Ride Control - the world's fastest-reacting suspension. Advanced technologies that enhance vision and safety surround the driver are available as well. Positioned directly above the centerpiece CTS family in Cadillac's revamped lineup, the new XTS features a 3.6L direct injection engine and advanced all-wheel drive system, marking a shift to more-efficient performance in a spacious luxury sedan. "The Cadillac XTS represents a new formula for luxury, driven by advanced technology," said Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac Marketing. "XTS showcases the evolution of our Art & Science philosophy, merging the best technical ideas with the continued refinement of Cadillac design." CHEVY IMPALA INFO: Chevrolet completes the transformation of its North American passenger car lineup with the introduction of the all-new 2014 Chevrolet Impala. The redesigned flagship sedan builds on the strong heritage of the Impala nameplate by offering expressive style, a more-refined interior, easy-to-use technology, and what is expected to be an exhilarating driving experience. "The 2014 Impala re-establishes this iconic Chevrolet nameplate as a design leader, with bold styling that will turn heads for years to come," said Mark Reuss, president, GM North America. "The team has also delivered the comfort, safety, fuel efficiency and technology that will strengthen Impala's leadership in the highly competitive full-size sedan market." The all-new Chevy Impala goes on sale in early 2013 as the 10th generation of one of the industry's most enduring - and popular - nameplates. Impala was America's best-selling full-size sedan in 2011, with sales of more than 171,000, which also made it one of the 10 best-selling cars overall in the United States, along with Chevrolet Malibu and Cruze. "This all-new Impala delivers on our promise that every new car that wears the Chevrolet bowtie will embody the pioneering spirit that has defined the brand for more than a century." said Chris Perry, vice president, global Chevrolet marketing. "With the striking new design and the right mix of comfort, technology and efficiency, we have recaptured the magic that attracted millions of consumers to the Impala nameplate for decades." *Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. 2013 Cadillac XTS Review
Huge luxury without the huge price tag, XTS wows with technology http://www.autoguide.com/manufacturer/cadillac/2013-cadillac-xts-review-vid eo-2027.html Cadillac's return to large luxury comes with an inherent gamble, that Americans want to buy, and will continue to want to buy, large luxury machines. With compact cars now outselling mid-size ones, there seems to be no evidence to support this plan. Then again, perhaps the luxury segment is different. [HD:720p] Jaguar F-Type Coupe Concept!!!
READ ABOUT IT BELOW *The Jaguar C-X16 Concept is a bold statement of Jaguar's future design and technological intent. The C-X16 takes the traditional front-engined, rear-wheel drive formula that Jaguar defined over the decades and reinvents it for the 21st century in a performance-oriented hybrid drivetrain with 50:50 weight distribution. The latest iteration of Jaguar's 'Redefining Performance' ethos, the system is based around a prototype supercharged all-alloy V6 engine which produces 380 PS (280 kW) and 332 lb ft (450 Nm) of torque from 3.0-litres thanks to its innovative design. Supplementing this is an electric motor producing 70 kW and 235 Nm (equivalent to 95 PS and 173 lb ft), available to the driver at the push of a steering-wheel Boost button. Allied to an eight-speed gearbox and mounted in a lightweight aluminium chassis this allows the Jaguar C-X16 Concept to sprint to 62mph in 4.4 seconds and reach 186mph while returning 41mpg (UK gallon) and emitting 165g/km of CO2. The aluminium bodywork is wrapped as closely to these mechanicals as possible to distil the essence of Jaguar sports cars into the next evolution of an already award-winning design language. By stretching the main feature lines back from the focal point formed by the grille and pushing the wheels as far into the corners as possible, the car has a taut, poised-for-action stance that is unmistakeably Jaguar. The interior showcases important future technologies such as multimodal rotary controls. These incorporate miniature OLED screens, which reconfigure to reflect the different functions that can be performed via the controls, all of which are designed for maximum compatibility between sports car needs and everyday usability. *Copyright Disclaimer: Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for "fair use" for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research.
