http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/veloster/2013/?id=32972 When the Hyundai
Veloster was released in 2011 many enthusiasts were excited to see a
fantastic looking and affordable sport compact car that would give the
other hot hatchbacks in the segment a run for their money. The let down
came when the hood was opened to reveal a 138 horsepower 1.6 liter
naturally aspirated engine that was more suited for fuel efficiency rather
that for performance. Well now you can have your cake with the release of
the 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo! The
base price on the turbo model is
The 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo is
powered by a twin-scroll turbocharged
1.6 liter 4-cylinder engine based on the standard Veloster Gamma GDi
engine. The turbo motor has a lower
compression ratio at 9.5:1 to handle the added Boost pressure. The gasoline direct injection
(GDi) motor also sports Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT).
Power output for the turbo engine is 201
horsepower and 195
lb-ft. of torque which puts the Veloster turbo right in the middle of the sport compact car
pack. The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual but there is also is
6-speed automatic version with paddle shifters. The manual is the more fuel
efficient transmission at 26 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway.
On the outside the Hyundai Veloster turbo model is distinguishes itself from the
regular model in a few ways. For started, the Veloster turbo has a huge wide-mouth front grille opening

the turbo model. Another cool feature
found on the turbo-only model are the
LED lights front and back. The front projector headlights sport LED daytime
running light accents which are normally reserved for high end luxury
vehicles. The wheels on the Hyundai Veloster turbo are 18-inch alloy units that combine both a

2013 Nissan Altima Test Drive & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/altima/2013/?id=32972 Nissan calls the 2013
Altima the most innovative Altima ever as this model represents the 5th
generation. Practically every facet of the car has been upgraded for the
better from the more stylish exterior, to the smooth design and finish of
the interior; the Altima looks to distance itself from the pack in a very
competitive sedan segment. The 2013 Nissan Altima comes in 7 different trim
levels with the base 2.5 sedan costing $21,500. The fully loaded 3.5 SL
tops out at $30,080.
On the outside the first thing you notice about the 2013 Nissan Altima is
the body lines which look more like Nissan's luxury line Infiniti. There
are chrome accents everywhere and the rear LED taillights are hard to miss.
The body and chassis are lighter thanks in part to the use of aluminum. The
overall drag coefficient of the 2013 Nissan Altima was also reduced which
in turn helps lower fuel consumption. The interior of the 2013 Nissan
Altima is quite spacious for a mid size sedan. The materials used are very
high quality and the interior features are nicely laid out. Again the
Altima seems to take a que from the Infiniti design line.
There are 2 different engines options. The first is a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder
engine that makes 182 horsepower and 180 lb-ft. of
torque. The Altima might seem a bit low in the power department but with
the Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission, Nissan thinks the 2013
Altima will net 38 MPG on the highway making it one of the most fuel
efficient sedans on the road. The other engine choice is a 3.5 liter V-6
that produces 270 horsepower and 258 lb-ft. of
Driving dynamics are much improved as the rear suspension now consists of a
multilink setup based on the 370Z sports car. The ZF Sachs shock absorbers
are more commonly found on high end luxury cars from Europe. The 2013
Nissan Altima has a trick Active Understeer Control System which keeps the
driver in control. Understeer is eliminated by the computer as brake
pressure is applied to the inside wheel automatically.
The 2013 Nissan Altima comes loaded with a bunch of standard features. The
seats have been redesigned and test to improve posture and reduce fatigue.
There is an Advanced Display which makes it easy for the driver to get
vehicle information and navigation instructions. The Altima comes standard
with Nissan's safety shield which adds over 50 features including a Lane
Departure Warning System, Blind Spot Warning System, and Moving Object

2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Test Drive & Sub-Compact Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/fiat/500/2012/abarth/?id=32972 The 2012 Fiat 500
Abarth comes packing a turbocharged
motor that delivers a heaping amount of torque at low RPM's which allows
the driver to get off the line quick. The suspension is stiffer and the
exterior is more aggressive. The Fiat 500 Abarth is a sub-compact car that
is a total blast to drive. The MSRP on a 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is $22,000.
Back in the 1950's Carlo Abarth used Fiat vehicles as race cars. These
little automobiles were very successful racers and Carlo Abarth ventured
out making high performance parts for Fiat vehicles. Fiat then bought out
Abarth in 1971 and designated that name for their racing department. Fast
forward to 2012 and we have a potent little rocket in the Fiat 500 Abarth.
Differentiating the Abarth from a more mundane Fiat 500 is easy. The Abarth
model will carry with it the signature scorpion badges that Abarth is known
for. Other styling ques include an Abarth sport stripe, performance front
bumper, twin Exhaust, 2-piece rear
fascia, rear spoiler, and 17-inch rims. On the inside the 2012 Fiat Abarth
treats the driver to high performance sport seats, a flat-bottom steering
wheel, aluminum pedals, Boost gauge,
Bose sound system, and more.
It's the performance aspect that sets the 2012 Fiat Abarth apart from the
rest of the pack. Then engine is a turbocharged 16-valve 1.4 liter 4-cylinder that
makes 160 horsepower and 170 lb-ft. of
torque. The power control module makes sure the Abarth is operating at peak
performance while in Sport mode. The car still manages to get 28 MPG in the
city and 34 MPG on the highway too! The wheels are wrapped in sticky
Pirelli P Zero tires for additional stick. Suspension wise the 2012 Fiat
500 Abarth features stiffer springs and KONI shocks for added handling
performance. The steering is quicker and more responsive thanks to a tuned
system calibrated around the electric power steering unit. The brakes are
larger rotors to take care of any spirited driving needs.
The 2012 Fiat Abarth is full of personality and it drives around like an
angry little car looking for a fight. This is great for the driver that
wants a fun and sporty sub-compact car. The turbocharged engine provides plenty of motivation
while the suspension is capable of handling the twisties. As an added bonus
all Fiat 500 Abarth buyers will get to experience a personalized Abarth
Track Experience which include track instruction with a professional

The 300C was conceived when Chrysler was partnered with Mercedes, and is
based on the old E-Class. It looks and feels enormous, whether you opt for
the saloon or estate version, and the styling is very distinctive,
especially when compared to the Audi A6, Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series.
The 300C can't match its rivals in the driving department, but the interior
is comfortable and the soft ride is comfortable on longer journeys. The
diesel engine is a better option than the thirsty V8 petrol model, an all
models get high levels of standard equipment.
2013 Ford Taurus vs Chrysler 300 S AWD Mile High Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2013 Ford Taurus and the Chrysler 300 S both
have V-6 engines, both seat 5 passengers and both have all-wheel-drive.
They also both and recently redesigned big American family sedans. In fact
to call this video Mashup Review is a stretch as both cars compete directly
with each other. Perhaps the biggest difference between the two cars is
that the Chrysler has 4 more horsepower at 292 versus the
Ford's 288 HP. So the obvious question is which of these two cars is
better. Check out this video "Mashup" to find out.
