Installed the engine today (April 7, 2012) . The video is at 4X speed, and I cut out about 10 minutes (2.5 minutes at 4X speed) of real time footage. 1966 VW Beetle - Inaugural Drive Around The Block
The car is no longer lowered this much. The original beam was a shockless 6.5" narrowed adjustable beam with 2.5" dropped spindles. The rear was also lowered one notch. It now has a stock front beam with 2.5" dropped spindles, and the rear has been brought back up to stock. My Beetle reborn
My first car was was a 1969 Automatic-Stickshift VW Beetle. I drove it for 4 years, and it took a beating. It was garaged for 18 years, until I decided to rebuild it.
