The car is no longer lowered this much. The original beam was a shockless 6.5" narrowed adjustable beam with 2.5" dropped spindles. The rear was also lowered one notch. It now has a stock front beam with 2.5" dropped spindles, and the rear has been brought back up to stock. 1966 VW Beetle - Body Removal - One Person - Remove Body Chassis Bug - (2x Speed)
SEE NEW VERSION HERE (It has annotations if viewing on your desktop): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAe4wcvIp1E Here's a short video showing the removal of my VW Beetle body from it's chassis. This is the first time I've attempted this solo. In the past, I've done it with the help of friends with each of us on a corner of the car. All things considered, it went pretty well. =) Hopefully someone will learn from my mistakes. The sawhorses are very similar to the ones you'll see in the BugMe videos.
