Teal to Black 1992 RS Camaro Project Restoration Slideshow
Here is a slideshow of the work that was done on my Camaro. Originally teal with tan interior, and gets a complete makeover of black with black/gray interior. It took about a year to and costed under $2,000! Got a cheap paint job from a local auto body & paint place, and it looks great, and I've been taking great care of the paint ever since. I got the hood and interior and the silver RS badges all on Craigslist for under 100 dollars...big money saver there. The interior, seats and carpet were from an 1984 Camaro. The plastic pieces were all painted with duplicolor vinyl spray and has held up great. It needed minor rust repair on the floor boards, it was patched up and chemical blocked from coming back quickly. I have been customizing it with the purple lights, and a big sound system, and still don't think I'm done yet , LOL. It's an ongoing fun project. Hope you enjoy, would like some comments on what you think.

LS1 '92 Camaro on the Dyno at LS Fest - LSx 5.3 "Squirter" Project T56 6 Speed - Third Gen
This Dyno video was shot at LS Fest 2013 in Bowling Green, KY. The Squirter Project started out as a 2000 5.3 engine I picked up to go into my '87 Chevy truck. Once I got it home, pulled the spark plugs out and attempted to rotate the engine, water shot out across my garage. This is on video and can be seen in the "Squirter" video playlist on my Channel. After that we pulled the heads and found the rust in one bank of cylinders that would not allow the engine to completely rotate over. I did not want to invest in boring, buying pistons and bearings for this motor. So we decided to recycle the engine. The day before we took it to the scrap yard I got an idea for a fun learning experiment and presented it to my YouTube audience. The idea was to sand paper out the bores until it would rotate. Then slap the heads back on it and run it on an engine stand. This would show us how an engine runs with poor quality cylinder walls and also show everyone what it takes to make an LS engine run all by itself on an engine stand. Then one could apply what they see on the engine stand to their own swap project. Everyone liked the idea and decided to donate to help make this project possible. Once we ran it on the stand (also in the "Squirter" video playlist), it ran so well that we decided to slip in a cam and drop it into my '92 Camaro to make LS Fest in a month and see how long the engine will hold up. When assembling the motor I had the heads milled .045". Once the engine was together and running well, I also decided to cut out the rocker stud lumps from the intake ports of the heads. To fit the character of the Squirter I left the heads on the engine while working the ports. Over all we are happy with how the Squirter project as come along and are still having fun with it. 327rwhp/308tq 5.3 LS based Engine, High Mileage and Rust Pitted Cylinders buring oil on #2 Oil Pump .080" Shimm, about 10psi bump. 3rd Gen Camaro Build
A (lotta) work in progress. I started this project to swap a 191cubic inch V6 to a 350 V8 (along with performance parts, and swapping & upgrading the transmission) in 2009. (see modifications list below.) These are pictures and videos as I progressed and the very first engine start and test drive. I applied primer to protect the metal as I knew I would have to put the project on hold, which is where it has been since.
