The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth Rips up the Race Track
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth is the first Fiat 500 Abarth to get the new MultiAir turbo Engine which produces 160 horsepower that is fed through the front wheels. So how does the car drive where it counts....on the race track? We had the chance to find out when we took the car out for a spin with one of the lead engineers who developed the car for America as on the race track in Nevada. RWD Abarth 500 Drifting and Burnouts!
I had fun with the Motore Centrale R230, a massively tuned 500 Abarth with the RWD system and the middle engine position. This car is made in collaboration with Lucarelli-Monza and Aznom companies. The R230 has been lightweighted of 50kg and the power increased up to 230hp, so now accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7s and a top speed of 245 km/h. Abarth 500 by Novitec : kit aérodynamique (un nouveau spoiler avec lame en carbone, de nouveaux bas de caisse, un diffuseur arrière modifié , un aileron de hayon plus important ) suspension revue et abaissée de 35 mm (nouveaux ressorts) amortisseurs réglables , jantes en 17 pouces ( Modèle Novitec N10 disponible en polish et glossyblack, en option silver et matte black ) pneumatiques en 215/40 R17 ( jantes alu en 18 pouces chaussées en 215/35 R 18 disponible sur demande , comme sur les photos ) ATTENTION : Léger étirement des ailes pour le montage des roues en 18 pouces . Freinage renforcé ( Brembo ou AP Racing ) .
