1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback Restoration (oct.13 1964)
Restoration of Jody's first car. He bought it when he was 14 from the
original owner. We restored it to original except the side mirrors and
shift knob which the car had when he bought it all those years ago. This is
an A code, 289 4 barrel, 4spd, Disc brake, A.C. from the factory, a GT
package before they called it a GT. Built Oct 13 1964, fastbacks did not
start production until Sept 64.
Supercharged 3.7L Mustang at Autobahn North Track
I ran my supercharged 3.7L V6 Mustang at Chicago's Autobahn North
Track May 2013. It was a nice cool day. The event was for the annual Heidts
Performance Car Challenge. It was an event mainly for older Muscle cars
that have been modified for road racing but there was a fair amount of late
model muscle cars there as well.
Kenny Brown was there with his GT-4RS car as well as Evan Smith from Muscle
Mustangs and Fast Fords
Magazine. Evan awarded me the Editors Choice award for the event. You can
read more about the event and see more pics at http://v6Mustangperformance.com/autobahn-track
I had a blast. I want to mention some of the modifications I had for an
enhanced performance while on the road course. EBC (Orange pads and
rotors), Eibach (Srpings and sway bars), Nitto (NT-05 tires) , Weld (RTS
Wheels), Bassani Xhaust, Barton, SPEC, Shaftmasters, BMR, Stifflers, TMI
(Headrests) and ProCharger.

LMC Super Cuda 200 MPH!
log onto www.legendarymotorcar.com to see photos of the build!
Lady Luck was on our side last week as the Legendary Team made its way to
the Chrysler Proving Grounds in Chelsea, Michigan.
An all night drive through a snow storm saw us pull into the proving
grounds parking lot at the crack of dawn. It was cold and overcast but no
sign of rain or snow. It looked like the weather would cooperate, the next
hurdle was having MOPAR engineers check out the Cuda. The car passed with
flying colors, testament to the sweat and dedication put in by everyone at
Legendary over the last year.
Then it was off to the black lake for some real world handling tests in
preparation for the 4.75 mile oval and a crack a breaking the 200 mph mark.
Both the Cuda and the Enzo look impressive on the track but once the sun
began to come out late that morning the setting was perfect for our high
speed run. I think we captured some spectacular footage of a once in a life
After a brief mishap, when the Cuda lost its windshield trim at 190 mph,
Peter was ready to go. We could hear the Cuda coming long before we could
see her, as the cars went by they sounded like jet fighters. Top speed 208
mph with still some leftwe did it!
