Forgotten Volkswagen Single Cab

How does an old Volkswagen Single Cab get buried under 3 feet of dirt? Took 45 years to bury this Volkswagen and almost 2 days to dig it out. Have a look. Took the Syncro for a Sunday drive and spotted an old single cab in the foothills outside Idaho Falls. This is nine hours worth of digging condensed into a 15 minute video. It had been sitting in a wash since 1967. It was buried under two feet of dirt but it's extremely rust free given the circumstances. The drop gates hadn't seen the light of day for 45 years. IF YOU HAVE A VOLKSWAGEN THAT NEEDS RESCUED OR KNOW OF ONE GIVE US A CALL AT (208)200-6053. We also consign Volkswagens if you have one you want to sell. Thanks Skeeters. Thanks for all the phone calls and emails about Forgotten VW's that we have received. This video has helped rescue several abandoned and otherwise forgotten VW's that may have been left for dead including a very cool 1960 VW Double Cab that we got out of Missouri that had been sitting since 1965. We also recently returned from Mission Viejo California where we picked up a 1961 SO-23 Westfalia. This bus had been sitting since 1980. We got a tip on that bus after someone saw the Forgotten Single Cab video. Give us a call today if you know of one. Thanks again. We get after the Neglected Deluxe before she even gets off the trailer. After hours and hours of grinding all 23 windows are exposed and she looks better than ever. Thanks Skeeters (208)200-6053 "Chestnut" Brown Sugar by ZZ top. Great wrenching music.

RESURRECTION - Rescue of a VW 1955 panelvan - Forest find !
AirMapp & Serial Kombi present "RESURRECTION", a short movie about the found and the rescue of my 1955 panelvan. It was abandonned deep in a french alps valley since at least 40 years and we pulled it out of the forest in september 2016 by "restoring" it on site and driving it down the mountain ! Hope you will enjoy this video. Music list at the end of the movie. Filmed with 5D mark II, GoPro Hero4 black edition and a 3DR solo drone.

Forgotten Volkswagen Camper Van LIVES AGAIN !!!!!!! VW Bus
We pulled this 1979 Volkswagen Camper out of a shop where it had been sitting since 1997. The motor was partially installed but needed to be finished. Tires were shot and the interior was a mess. We spent the better part of 2 weeks cleaning, polishing and replacing anything that needed to be fixed. It was a team effort and couldn't have got it done without the help of my amazing wife and daughters. If you have an old Volkswagen you want to sell give us a call today at (208)200-6053. The VW ID MPV instead projects the key information by means of an AR (augmented reality) Head-up Display into the driver's field of vision – in 3D, in virtual format onto the road. VW I.D. interior features such as the VW ID infotainment and air-conditioning functions are operated via a removable tablet. The main VW ID interior controls for driving, meanwhile, are located on the VW ID steering wheel. Its inner section is not – as is normal today – fitted with spokes and buttons, but rather has a kind of touchpad with capacitive fields, thus turning the traditional steering wheel into a multi-functional touch-sensitive VW ID steering wheel. The use of space in the VW ID concept car, which has up to eight seats, is better than in any other electric vehicle. The multi-variable seating and interactive integration of the VW ID BUZZ makes a great deal possible. Thanks to the extended MEB XL platform, this 4,942 mm long, 1,976 mm wide and 1,963 mm high concept vehicle provides what for its class are extraordinary VW I.D. interior spatial dimensions inside as well. Volkswagen is demonstrating with the I.D. BUZZ concept vehicle in Detroit just how rich in features the electric mobility of tomorrow will be – an all- wheel drive plus VW I.D. interior spatial marvel with electric motors on front and rear axles, a fully automated driving mode (I.D. Pilot) and a new generation of indicators and controls. "The I.D. BUZZ is the next generation MPV. Its electric range as per the NEDC is up to 600 kilometres", explains Dr Frank Welsch, Member of the Board of Management Volkswagen Brand for the Development Division. The I.D. BUZZ takes on new energy inductively or from a charging station. At a charging power of 150 kW, it takes around 30 minutes to charge up to 80 per cent. It was just four months ago that Volkswagen unveiled the little brother of the I.D. BUZZ at the Paris Motor Show: the VW I.D.3 It too – a revolution. A compact electric car that will launch as of 2020 with ranges of up to 600 kilometres. The first car to go into series production based on the MEB. And the first Volkswagen concept car that can be driven in fully automated mode. The new VW I.D. BUZZ is now the first VW MPV with which that is possible: all that is needed is a gentle push on the steering wheel and it instantly moves back, melts into the cockpit and switches the VW I.D. BUZZ from manual into the fully automated 'I.D. Pilot' mode (envisaged as of 2025). Now, the VW I.D. driver's seat can be turned around and the driver can face the passengers in the back. Laser scanners, ultrasound sensors, radar sensors, area-view cameras and a front camera scan the surrounding area, with other traffic data being received via the Cloud.
