Karmann Ghia - Convertible Top Installation - Part 4 - Outer Canvas
It been a long time since the last video on the install (September 2012 to
be exact). The top arrived from TMI by way of HOG and this video shows the
installation of the canvas top onto the headlined and padded frame. I will
have one more video in this series showing the finishing touches and adding
all the necessary seals around the windows.

this great barn find - a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible sold by Sunset
This cute little Ghia has lived in a barn for the past 24 years! It is
happy to be in my garage with other good VW company, but I already have a
yellow Ghia Convertible so this one is up for sale. The long-time owner
said he took the car out every year to keep things fresh. When I looked at
the car he admitted it had been 3 years since it had been driven. The barn
was on a dirt road way out in the Minnesota prairie. It was a fun find.
Convertible Karmann Ghias are definitely one of my favorite barn finds for
a classic car.

Karmann Ghia - Convertible Top Installation - Part 2 - Headliner
A step by step of how I installed the custom tweed headliner from Mike at
House of Ghia (made by TMI) in my 1974 VW Karmann Ghia. Thanks to Vince
(Ghiaaddict) on thesamba for his step by step tutorial. I would not have
even attempted this without his help and guidance.

2014 Mercedes E550 Cabriolet Test Drive & Luxury Convertible Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/e-class/2014/?id=32972 With the
Mercedes E550 Cabriolet you get impeccable German engineering and super
high quality materials. This is a fantastic touring machine in its own
rite. A base E-Series car starts at $51,400 and the E550 Cabriolet tested
here starts at $67,300 but the price can balloon with additional added
packages and options.
The engine powering the E550 Convertible is a twin-turbo 4.7 liter V-8 that makes 402 horsepower and 443 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy figures are 17 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the
highway. The great thing about this engine is a large torque curve. All
that power and torque are necessary though as the E550 Cabriolet weighs a
hefty 4048 lbs.
The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E550 Cabriolet has a couple of great features to
improve comfort of the passenger. The first is a system called AIRCAP which
is essentially a spoiler on top of the windshield and a deflector behind
the rear seats. These 2 automated parts work together to push the air flow
p and over the passenger compartment minimizing wind. The second feature is
the AIRSCRAF system which is a set of vents integrated into the head rests.
These vents produce warm or cool air for the drive and front passenger.
The Mercedes E550 Cabriolet has a split personality. You can drive the car
in ECO or Comfort mode which makes the car loft around on the roads. But
switch the dial to Sport and the entire car wakes up and performs

see this classic 1969 Karmann Ghia Convertible for sale from Left Coast
Classics in Sonoma California.
Join us on a test drive to the Valley of the Moon Winery in this cool
classic 1969 Karmann Ghia convertible. Stored inside family warehouse since
1987. Prior to entering it's 26 year rest it had been repainted and a new
top was installed. I believe that the 93k miles showing are likely correct
yet cannot be sure. All mechanical systems recently gone through to make
the car a reliable, long-distance or daily driver. New tires also
installed. Strong compression, excellent shifting and acceleration; brakes,
steering all in full working order. Original equipment in correct working
order including the clock. Original Sapphire X radio does not turn on but
we will see if this can be remedied prior to sale. Original white interior
was discolored after 45 years so we replaced the front and rear seat covers
and door panels. Carpet is original. This is a good driver-quality, mostly
original California car with plenty of appeal and room to improve if
someone so desires. Or just enjoy exactly as-is.

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my
wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I
know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was
installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is
