The new 911 GT3 Cup, inaugurated in 2011 for the 25th anniversary of the Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup, is fast, larger, more powerful with improved aerodynamics. The speeds reached along the Circuit in the City show the skills of the drivers who will put on a brave face.
Lights on the Pau circuit, the 18 Porsches invest Pau by night on Saturday May 12. From the beginning on, Loeb outdistances his teammates Jean-Karl Vernay and Vincent Beltoise. The trio led then until Beltoise spin off and restarts 6th, leaving his third place to Côme Ledogar. Leading the pack, Loeb maintains the 2sec. gap and takes his first victory on the Circuit in the City. This double victory of the Sebastien Loeb Racing demonstrates the level of preparation targeted by the champion for his brand new team. As for Julien Briche, winner of the Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup first race one hour before, he ranks 6th.

The 1.8 TFSI -- with an engine displacement of 1,798 cc -- produces 132 kW (180 hp) and outputs 250 Nm (184.39 lb-ft) of torque between 1,250 and 5,000 rpm. It combines direct injection with supplemental injection into the induction pipe, varies the valve stroke based on load using the Audi valvelift system and utilizes a very elaborate thermal management system to quickly heat the engine after a cold start. Its key performance data: zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 7.2 seconds, top speed 232 km/h (144.16 mph), combined fuel consumption of 5.6 liters per 100 km (42.00 US mpg), equivalent to 130 g CO2 per km (209.21 g/mile).

Sébastien Loeb (born 26 February 1974 in Haguenau, Alsace) is a French rally driver currently driving for the Citroën World Rally Team in the World Rally Championship (WRC). He has won the world championship a record eight times in a row,[1] and also holds several other WRC records, including most points, wins and podium finishes.
Originally a gymnast, Loeb switched to rallying in 1995 and won the Junior World Rally Championship in 2001. Signed by the Citroën factory team for the 2002 season, he and co-driver Daniel Elena took their debut WRC win that same year at the Rallye Deutschland. After finishing runner-up to Petter Solberg by one point in 2003, Loeb took his first drivers' title in 2004. Continuing with Citroën, he went on to take a record eighth consecutive world title in 2011. Loeb is a tarmac expert, having won all but three WRC rallies on that surface since 2005.
Besides his success in rallying, Loeb is a three-time winner at the Race of Champions, after taking home the Henri Toivonen Memorial Trophy and the title "Champion of Champions" in 2003, 2005 and 2008. In 2004, he won the Nations' Cup for France with Jean Alesi. In 2006, he finished second in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 2009, Loeb was made knight of the Légion d'honneur.

Il a alors eu l'occasion de démontrer ses talents aux clients en leur proposant de monter en passager d'une des Porsche 997 GT3 de l'école de pilotage, Pilotage Passion pour quelques tours de circuit à vitesse compétition.
Les quelques privilégiés ont vécu un moment fort en émotions et se rappelleront à jamais de ces quelques tours de piste en compagnie du plus grand pilote de rallye de tous les temps.
