► Sebastien Loeb Racing and his Porsche GT3 Cup Wins GP of Pau, France
The new 911 GT3 Cup, inaugurated in 2011 for the 25th anniversary of the Porsche Matmut Carrera Cup, is fast, larger, more powerful with improved aerodynamics. The speeds reached along the Circuit in the City show the skills of the drivers who will put on a brave face.
Lights on the Pau circuit, the 18 Porsches invest Pau by night on Saturday May 12. From the beginning on, Loeb outdistances his teammates Jean-Karl Vernay and Vincent Beltoise. The trio led then until Beltoise spin off and restarts 6th, leaving his third place to Côme Ledogar. Leading the pack, Loeb maintains the 2sec. gap and takes his first victory on the Circuit in the City. This double victory of the Sebastien Loeb Racing demonstrates the level of preparation targeted by the champion for his brand new team. As for Julien Briche, winner of the Peugeot RCZ Racing Cup first race one hour before, he ranks 6th.
► 2013 Kia cee'd
The new cee'd is longer, wider and lower than its predecessor, with the
same long wheelbase. The elegant simplicity of its coupe-like proportions
is emphasised by a steeply raked A-pillar, a very low belt-line in the
front and lengthened side windows.
The front of the new cee'd is dominated by the latest interpretation of
Kia's trademark 'tiger-nose' grille and aggressive, wraparound headlamp
clusters housing signature LED daytime running lights.
In profile, pronounced front and rear wings emphasise the car's wide track
and solid stance. Above taut, strongly sculpted door surfaces, the steeply
raked A-pillar, sweeping roofline and integral rear spoiler accentuate the
sporting aesthetics of the new model's generous glasshouse.
Throughout, the exterior is accented by numerous small yet highly
significant detail touches which add to the prestige and premium feel of
the new cee'd without detracting from the purity and elegance of the
These include a new, bolder, more sophisticated Kia badge, the indicator
blade protrusion in the front headlamps, the Kia-signature windscreen head
castellations, the chrome side glazing surround and the cee'd-unique,
aerodynamic shaping of the tail lamp which extends into the adjacent
The new cee'd features a completely new interior hallmarked by a more
premium look and feel, higher perceived quality, improved switchgear,
touch-screen technology and enhanced driving position ergonomics.
The dashboard layout features a cockpit-like design with an
aircraft-themed, driver-oriented fascia. The main control panel wraps
around the steering wheel, placing all switchgear within easy reach of the
driver, and the main control groups such as audio and air-conditioning have
been segregated to bring a more premium, luxurious, big car feel to the
Carefully considered precision detailing gives the cabin a more prestigious
look and feel than that of the current generation model. Soft touch
materials add a new tactility to the driving environment. Instruments and
switchgear are picked out in very thin chrome, the door handles are built
up in a layered sandwich of high quality materials and the door opener
itself has a sculpted, one-piece, shell-like quality reflecting the premium
values of the new interior design.
► 2013 Audi A3 1.8 TFSI quattro S line
The 1.8 TFSI -- with an engine displacement of 1,798 cc -- produces 132 kW
(180 hp) and outputs 250 Nm (184.39 lb-ft) of torque between 1,250 and
5,000 rpm. It combines direct injection with supplemental injection into
the induction pipe, varies the valve stroke based on load using the Audi
valvelift system and utilizes a very elaborate thermal management system to
quickly heat the engine after a cold start. Its key performance data: zero
to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 7.2 seconds, top speed 232 km/h (144.16 mph),
combined fuel consumption of 5.6 liters per 100 km (42.00 US mpg),
equivalent to 130 g CO2 per km (209.21 g/mile).

NEW 2015 Audi TT-S Roadster reveal promo
The new TT Roadster combines the dynamic ride of a sports car with the
driving experience of an open‑top two‑seater. The basis for this
consists of struts in the underbody and body that considerably improve both
the torsional rigidity and the ride comfort.
As with all Audi Cabriolet models, the new TT Roadster and the
TTS Roadster also feature an electrically actuated fabric top. This is
available as standard in black, titanium gray and jive, and fits perfectly
into the design line. With parts made from magnesium, aluminum, steel and
plastic, the soft top weighs just 39 kilograms (86.0 lb) and is
3 kilograms (6.6 lb) lighter than its predecessor. This has a positive
impact on the gross vehicle weight and the center of gravity of the
open‑top two seater.
While opening, the top forms a Z shape as it folds together into a flat
package. When is stowed in the aluminum tray, it does not encroach on the
280‑liter (9.9 cu ft) luggage compartment. The electric drive with the
two electric motors performs opening and closing in 10 seconds, even when
driving at speeds of up to around 50 km/h (31.1 mph). As a result of the
elaborate clamping technology, the closed top is completely taut even at
high speeds – it features a homogeneous look that conceals the cross
The new TT Roadster is being launched with two turbocharged four-cylinder engines, a TDI and a
TFSI. A powerful TFSI ensures efficient drive in the TTS Roadster. With
power outputs between 135 kW (184 hp) and 228 kW (310 hp), they clearly
surpass the respective predecessor engines in terms of power, while
significantly undercutting them with regard to consumption.
Using the modular transverse matrix, all engines are mounted in the same
place – their installation location has great advantages with regard to
packaging. A start‑stop system is included as standard. In combination
with the optional driving dynamics system Audi drive select (fitted as
standard on the TTS Roadster), the adjustable engine sound makes the sound
even more sonorous.
