my 1978 ford granada with a 302 and T5 racing my friends 1975 firbird with a 455 V8. The granada has a mild cam, longtube open headers, edelbrock intake and carb, fox Mustang t5 transmission and ford explorer 31 spline 8.8 axle with 3.73 gears, trac-loc limited slip diff and disc brakes.
1978 Ford Granada First startup after sitting
Starting my 1978 Granada after sitting for 2 years. It has a ford explorer
5.0L roller motor with EEC-V EFI and DIS. The Explorer computer doesn't
like the FMS E-303 cam. Car also now has a built C-4 trans.

When Ford chose to replace the enormous Mk IV Zodiac and Zephyr range, they
took a massive leap forwards with the new Granada and its cheaper brother,
the Consul. Smaller than its forebear, it was lighter, faster, and smarter. This is a shortened
version of the launch film for both cars, and shows how high Ford were
aiming with this car in terms of the cars it was competing with.

Easy installation of the Ford 8.8" traction-lok S-spring

design has changed since the 80"s and warn against adding fibers to
