1980 trans am trying to start after 24 years in storage
UPDATE- here is my restoration page with pictures if anyone is interested http://transamcountry.com/community/index.php?topic=49110.0 i just bought this 1980 trans am. its %100 complete but the guy had taken it apart before storage in 1987. i am putting it back together to drive it this summer i put some oil in the cylinders before i tried to start it.





1967 Pontiac Firebird 20 Year Cold Start
We work on starting my new 67 Firebird after it has been sitting for 20 years untouched in Wasilla, Alaska. The tags expired in 1989. It has the original Overhead Cam Inline Six Engine. Before starting it we put oil down the cylinders, primed the oil system, changed the oil and replaced the Cap, Rotor, Plugs, and Points. A Complete restoration is planned for the immediate future.

1980 Pontiac Trans Am Restoration (Custom Bandit Recreation)
1980 PontiacTrans Am, GM Performace Parts 350 HO crate engine, backed up to a built 400 turbo Transmission with a 2000 B&M Stall Converter and Shift Kit. Air shocks in the rear and the rearend was left stock, with a custom built aluminum driveshaft. A set of Hooker headers and 2.5" Exhaust with a pair of 40 flowmasters gives this bandit a bark cruising down the road!
