A video compilation demonstrating the 2-step "launch control" feature of my custom VAST performance Stage 3 Frankenturbo tune. When the vehicle is stopped, the rev limit is set at 4,400 RPM for consistent launching. While holding this RPM, the turbos can produce up to about 6 psi with no load. With this setup, 0-60 mph times in the high 3's are obtainable with a quick 1-2 shift. The S4 also has piggie downpipes and a Borla single 3 inch Exhaust system. Some bonus footage of a coworker who had never ridden in a semi-fast car before is also included. :-) *edit* Unfortunately the girl in this video has passed away of Cystic Fibrosis (4/20/2013). RIP. The video was shot at Alameda Point in Alameda, California, highlighting the sights and sounds of Ken's Audi and the modifications he's performed to it. Just some of the mods done are a fully built engine by 034Motorsports including Tial R770 turbos, 18 inch Rotiform wheels, STaSIS Street Sport coilovers, Southbend stage 4 clutch, and a JHM center differential.
