1986 Dodge Shelby Charger Turbo II conversion

1986 Dodge Shelby turbo II conversion almost completely done. The bad thing is I'm getting a good bit of noise from the 555 trans at idle. I might have to tear it apart and see what the problem is. The aluminum radiator was for a Toyota Camry that was cut welded to fit the car. It worked nicely after a modification of the stock alternator bracket.

Turbo Dodge Omni GLH 5-Speed RECORD! 9.99 @ 143 MPH!
The Dodge Omni GLH (Goes Like Hell!) is a mean machine, especially when you consider the fact that it can run a 9 second pass in a mostly stock form! These guys know what it takes to build a street car AND go fast, even with a manual transmission! These guys are having a lot of fun with this little turbocharged Dodge four cylinder with a Daytona five speed behind it. Not only that, they also just finished a brutal Drag Week trip that took them nearly 1,000 miles to FOUR different tracks, beating up the car at each stop! Props to these fellas!

1985 Dodge Shelby Charger Burn Out
Just doing a little brake unassisted burn out for everyone. Anybody can do burnouts by holding their foot on the brake but try it without the brake, you'll save your tires a little longer. This was filmed the day I got the car new back in 1985 it was the fastest production car made back then all other car makers fell off on the horsepower but Chrysler was smart and kept making street rockets with a little help from Carol Shelby lmao.

This is one of the craziest things I have seen during a pull competition. Luckily they were able to bend it back and he ended up winning the pulling competition.
