Annual Datsloco Swapmeet. This year was held in Manteca, CA on 5/19/12. Great turn out. Lots of Datsuns and lots of fun. There were 510s, Zs, trucks, a 710, and wagons. There were also some Toyotas and Mazdas. Come join us next time.

Datsun Drift - Bushy Park
A bit of fun in a friends Datsun 210 around our local track, Bushy Park, after an Auto X event. First time driving the car with the A14 in it. It's a nice engine with twin SU carbs, A15 head, race cam, racing Exhaust. A lot faster than the standard A15 in my road car. Also the first time driving the car on the wet with the welded differential so I was just playing around with it, getting a feel for how it drives sideways.

(31,500km) It has been garaged it's entire life. It has never been winter driven, and has seldom seen rain... No smoking ever. This car is not restored, it has never had any paint work of any kind. The body and interior are almost perfect. The engine compartment has not been detailed. The car is kept in climate control and only driven a few times each year to car shows. It has an EPA-mpg rating of 28 city and 41 highway! It is powered by a 1.4 liter 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. Datsun 510 Dyno run ~375hp
This is a video of a Datsun 510 at the NWZ car show and shine, a twin turbo VG30DETT. The Dyno score card showed about 375hp....this car was awesome!!

Datsun 120Y, Canberra SDMA Hillclimb.
Racing the 120Y in the 2009 Canberra SDMA Hillclimb Series, at Fairbairn Park. By the end of the year i won my class, and came 2nd outright. During one race meet, I mounted some cameras and filmed a few of the runs. Class: Type 4 (extensively modified) upto 1600cc Best laptime: 52.70sec Car: 1975 Datsun 120Y Running a worked A15 with twin SU Carbs. 71 rwkw. 550kg rolling weight. 1/4 mile time of 15sec. Its setup more for dirt rally, rather then circuit or drag. Extractors hooked up to a 2.25 inch out-the-side Exhaust. Custom front and rear suspension. Locked rear diff. Stripped interior. Tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE55's. Its not much but its a lot fun :D

Datsun 240z vs Nissan GTR
This is a homebuilt twin turbo " blow through " system on a 409 cubic inch Chevy small block engine in a 72 Datsun 240 z. The car is Street Legal due to emission excemptions and is used for cruising, car shows, and drag racing. It is a Sleeper since it uses a full Exhaust system and mufflers.

We managed to squeeze the rig into the back of my propane powered datsun 210 hatchback and give the rig a stability check on a scenic section of mountain road. yt3d:enable=true Shout using Canon T1i's on the Inter Video 3D Lite Horizontal beam splitter Rig, canons were shooting in 1080p mode, these are the images directly out of the cameras, put in Final Cut Pro to make side by side and output into this result.
