I used a Gtech Pro to test my quarter mile before and after. Before the Superchip I was doing 14.4 at 103mph, after the Superchip I did 13.8 at 106mph. For each test I did 3 runs and took an average.
In less than 15 minutes and a few hundred bucks, you can add 30 horsepower or more depending on the model year of your Ford Mustang. My Mustang is an upgraded 1999 GT and I had my Superchip custom programmed for all the modifications that I made to my car.
The Superchips unit plugs right into the back of the stock car computer ECU (engine control unit).
*Don't forget to disconnect your car battery for 10 minutes during this upgrade; this will allow the car computer to recalibrate itself. You know that you have done a proper job resetting your computer if when you start your car, you notice that all the gauge needles sweep to the left then back.

MY NEW TOY! 1998 Ford Mustang V6 5-speed Start Up, Exterior/ Interior Review
Yes folks, it's finally happened! I have purchased yet another new car for myself. This time, by pure chance, I was notified of this CLEAN 98 Mustang V6 that was traded in at Grapevine Ford/ Lincoln where I work. It's only had one previous owner and pages and pages of maintenance records. It had a few faults but most of it was fixed thanks to the service facility at the dealership. $2200 secured this car for me, and now I've got a decent mode of transportation to get me to and from work/ review locations.
