132250 / 1967 Plymouth Satellite
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/74v89dm With 39,380 original miles, an untouched chassis, one repaint, and a ton of charm, this car is just about as close to a new 1967 Plymouth Satellite as you can find today. Yes, the car has had one body-on repaint way back in 1988, but they duplicated the original Bright Red finish. That paint hangs on 100% original sheetmetal that has never been hit, rusty, or replaced, and the doors open and close like a new car. Nobody can argue that the Satellite isn't a handsome car, with chiseled features and that dramatic C-pillar, and in red, it looks fast and agile. If you look at the panel gaps, that's how the factory did it—not perfect, but pretty darned good. There's not a trace of filler or amateur work anywhere on the car, and with the boss being a huge fan of these cars, you know he wouldn't have brought it in if it wasn't something special. With just under 40,000 original miles and what is perhaps the most complete maintenance history ever compiled on a single car, the engine has never been removed or rebuilt. With little more than routine service over the years, the 383 still rumbles to life like a new car with a single turn of the key, and runs so sweetly that opening it up would be a crime. The original accessories are all present and accounted for, while the air cleaner is the correct dual snorkel unit used on 4-barrel 383s. According to the service records, this car has been maintained to the letter as described in the owner's manual, and recent work includes authentic hoses and clamps and a fresh red cap battery. Underneath, it's solid and appropriately preserved given that the car has never been apart. Look at the floors—no question this is a California car, with no rust or rot anywhere to be found. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic, and like the engine, it has never been apart and doesn't leak. In back, the original 8.75-inch rear carries its original 3.23 gears, and the only reason it was opened was to change the lubricant a few years ago. RK Motors Charlotte just installed a dual Exhaust system featuring Dynomax mufflers, so the 383 sounds healthy but not obnoxious, and we rebuilt the front end so it tracks like a cruise missile on the highway. The only other non-stock components are the air shocks out back, but that's an easy fix if you don't need them. It rolls on a set of beautiful road wheels, which were not original equipment, and they're fitted with BFGoodrich Silvertown redline radials instead of the original whitewalls, but I think you'll find the look hard to resist. Inside, the interior has been lightly restored, but the line between new and original equipment is so blurry that there's just no way to say what has been replaced. The seats are exceptionally nice, the carpets are dark, and there are no stains, bald spots, or pulled threads. The door panels are definitely original, with some light patina, but nothing noteworthy. The dashboard, with its basic gauge package, is 100% original and unrestored, and the Music Master AM radio still lives in the dash. The only upgrade is a modern AM/FM/CD stereo head unit in the glove box that operates a CD changer in the trunk via remote control and can be easily removed for shows. In that trunk, you'll discover the original trunk mat and a complete jack assembly, and we have the original spare tire that accompanies the car. This Satellite is a time capsule—this is exactly how a new 1967 Satellite would have felt in 1967 as you pulled off the dealer's lot. It's tight, precise, and surprisingly well polished, with no squeaks or rattles. With outstanding care and maintenance, it is ready to drive and enjoy today with no additional work, and you'll probably receive a very warm reception every time you show it. Original cars are special because they're only original once. No matter how much money you spend, you just couldn't duplicate this car as it sits today. And that's why collectors seek them out. Call us today!

1970 Plymouth Satellite - CHI #405
1970 Plymouth Satellite for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This Plymouth was originally a 318 car but has been built as a sleeper with a 440 CID V8 under the hood! The rear end is a very streetable 2.76 ratio for cruising. Options include AM radio, power steering, seat belts, vinyl interior, rally wheels, and radial tires. Both the 318 and the 440 were from factory A/C cars so both compressors come with this car if someone wanted to put A/C back on. New parts on the Mopar for sale include water pump, radiator, shocks all around - the rear are air shocks, vinyl top, chrome valve covers and air cleaner to dress it up a bit, Pertronix electronic ignition, and fuel pump. This car is ready to run and could be driven as is or cloned into a Road Runner or GTX pretty easily. The Plymouth Satellite was an automobile introduced in 1965 as the top model in Plymouth's mid-size Belvedere line. The Satellite remained the top of the line model until the 1967 model year, where it became the mid-price model with the GTX taking its place as the top model. The Fury name was moved to Plymouth's mid-size models for 1975, at which time the Satellite name disappeared. The Satellite was built on Chrysler's mid-size "B" platform. If you want some reasonably priced Mopar muscle give us a call. This Satellite for sale is located in our Chicago Showroom, and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call 708-444-4488 for additional information. Want to connect with us? 1973 PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER -- A DIFFERENT PLYMOUTH SATELLITE
Plymouth Road Runners, while a muscle car, was within the Plymouth Satellite model, an intermediate size car. The Satellite could have a V8 318 where the Road Runner, designated as a muscle car, had a V8 340 cid with 240 horses. Differences between the two are significant The Road Runner had the hood scoops, the racing stripes, the rally wheels, rally steering wheel, console with a T-handle shifter, and appropriate muscle car interior. There was the price difference too between a Satellite coupe - $2,755 and the Road Runner -- $3,115. So there you could have a choice between a Plymouth personal luxury car, the Satelite, or you could chose the Road Runner muscle car. Both models shared the same body shell but there was that significant difference. Thanks very much for viewing this 1973 Plymouth Road Runner.

134120 / 1972 Plymouth Satellite
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/bn6xgd2 The product of a high dollar, multi-year build, this incredible Mopar pro-tourer wraps a 500 horsepower 3G Hemi and a completely custom suspension in a custom leather interior and killer custom-mixed paint. Completed in early 2012, this super clean curve carver is the direct result of what happens when a seasoned fabricator has an uncompromised vision, major dedication and access to a six-figure bank account. See, the car's creator already owned a killer Charger that was buff enough to pull down sub 10-second passes on an NHRA-sanctioned drag strip, so he wanted to build a second car that was a bit milder and quite different. Enter this neon Plymouth, a project which quickly escalated from the restoration of a fun cruiser into the creation of an outrageous driver's car. Hoist this Plymouth's bright fiberglass hood and you'll find 6.1 liters of naturally aspirated 3G Hemi bliss. Straight from the factory that popular SRT8 powerplant produces an impressive 425 horsepower and 420 lb./ft. of torque. And with the help of a custom tune by the folks at Bouchillon Performance Engineering in Hanahan, South Carolina, its performance transforms from wild to flat out wicked! Measuring in at roughly 372 cubic inches, the big mill uses a revised block, forged internals, lighter pistons and a cast aluminum intake to crank out a whopping 500 horsepower and 460 lb./ft. of torque. And best of all, that's 500 horsepower that'll fire up in any weather, last thousands of maintenance-free miles, and probably lay waste to any old school muscle car that's brave enough to stage a challenge! Behind the neo Hemi, a Hughes Performance A727 Torqueflite produces great bite and hard launches. Out back, there's a fresh Moser Sure Grip rear end that's equipped with moderate, pavement pounding gears. At the front of the car, custom-mounted rack and pinion steering provides smooth turns and quick reflexes. That rack is held off the ground by a first class double A-arm suspension that's a product of Magnumforce upper control arms, two inch drip spindles, fresh Aldan coil overs and modified Mancini lower control arms. Holding the car's rear end off the ground is a Reilly Motorsports triangulated four link set up that's equipped with new QA-1 coil over shocks. And at the corners of the chassis, custom Boze Alloy wheels spin 235/55R18 front and 305/45R20 rear Yokohama Advan STs around graphite gray spokes, satin-finished lips and yellow-trimmed center caps. Open this B-Body's solid closing doors and take in its custom black interior that, as an astute combination of serious hardware and modern aesthetics, is the perfect place to spend jaunts like Hot Rod's famed Power Tour. The first thing you'll notice is a pair of GS-1 touring buckets, fitted with high quality RCI harnesses, that are so supportive they'll have no problem living life 100 miles at a time. Between those seats, a custom console anchors a B&M Pro Bandit shifter between two cup holders and a remote controlled Sony CD player. At the front of that console, a clean Just Dashes dash features snazzy white-faced gauges and a modern pushbutton ignition switch. And in front of the driver, a three-spoke Momo steering wheel spins a thick black rim around a shaved steering column. Brutally fast and visually stunning, this awesome Plymouth perfectly embodies the tried and true philosophy of pushing the envelope as far as the arc will go.
