A burnout video as promised. Here is a big thanks to all the folks at http://www.forabodiesonly.com/ who helped me turn a trailer of parts into this restored 1969 Dart GTS. Those were some sticky Mickey's after that.

Blown Hemi Dart
Blown Hemi Dart at Ralph's Rapid Transit Cruiz-In
May 30, 2009
69 Dodge Dart startup
Blown 440 built by Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. The car and full
interior was actually completelly built by Jegs in the mid 90's and has
just received it's first coat of primer.
68 Dart 340 4 Speed Run
My 1968 Dart after I transformed it from a slant 6 auto to a car with a
1968 340 that I built myself, 4 speed manual trans., and an 8.75, with 3:91
ratio limited slip diff. In the beginning, the first car you see pass by
is a COP! I waited a few seconds for him to get down the road a ways
before I took off. Sorry about the poor sound quality from the camera.
Blown mud truck
***This video was taken while the truck was still under construction***440
with 671 blower, Dynoed 680 horse@ 6600 RPM. We
decided to test out my transmission , the first run I think I accidently
bumped it to neutral, second run was clean all the way through 3rd gear.
Good thing I dont plan to shift in the mud anyway, its just nice to know
things are working properly! I need to upgrade to 70 shafts in the front
before I lock it! Heres a couple links to the videos of this in the mud:
1969 Dodge GTS 340 Four Barrel
It took a year of hard work and more money than I care to admit but I can
finally let go of the 1969 Swinger I sold twenty years ago for tuition.
Loadng the Dart
Dad gets to have some fun! We took the Dart to a car show this afternoon
and loaded it up in the street in front of our house.
1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart from Hurst First Drive
The first drive of Troy's 1968 Super Stock Hemi Dart recreation. This car
is a recreation of how racers originally recieved the cars from Hurst
Corporation. Skinny tires, primer paint, transistorized ignition, heater
delete, outside mirror delete, rear seat delete, no seam sealer, no sound
deadener, no undercoating, and many many other tricks!
The rolling burnout in this video was truely not done on purpose. Just
bliping the throttle with those skinny bia plys will that!
It's a correct looking 472 Hemi with the new TTI Hemi A-body headers. No
need to have expensive custom header made for your car anymore! The rest of
the Exhaust is straight back to
glasspacks as delivered by Hurst. This was THE car TTI used to prototype
and create the jigs for A-body Hemi Headers. This car has a 1968 idler,
pitman, centerlink, with manual brakes. Motor is positioned as called out
in the TTI instructions.
Troy did extensive research and work to complete this project that took
under 2 years to complete. Final paint application, engine machining, and
seat covers, where the only 3 items he did not do in his 2 car garage!
