LS2 swapped '91 Z28 vs. '96 LT1 SS

The red SS is cam/head/intake/weight reduction/geared LT1. 3.90 gears in the back, huge cam, a ton of parts removed for weight reduction, and the thing rolls out as you can tell from the video. My Z28 vert is significantly heavier than his car and is a cam-only LS2 T56 car, very impressed with the results of this one. This is 3rd and 4th gears.

LS2 T56 powered '91 Z28 just a short driving video
Not much going on here, almost back to a friend's house taking him home from an fbody cruise today.

Fun on the way home with an LS2 / T56 swapped '91 Z28
Just having a little fun driving home from an fbody cruise today. Not much going on in the video except at the end I think I got a little air because I forgot there was a huge hump in the middle of the road.

Spike 1986 LS1 swaped Camaro
A day at the Dyno for calibration. April 30, 2011. About the car (from my brother SpikeIROC) : - The car is an 1986 Camaro IROC. - Headlights are eBay cheapos that will soon be swapped for LED projectors. - It put down 400 whp and 390 tq thu a T56 and a fabbed 9" rear end. - Brakes are C6Z front and rear. - I swapped hatch to get the cleaner look I was looking for. - It was trailered to the Dyno because it was not tuned and I was not willing to risk damaging my new engine. - The car The wheels are Bonspeed Intense 5. They are now powdercoated satin black. Some more information about my brother's car can be found here : http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2432471/1986-chevrolet-Camaro/

LS1 Iroc at the track
11.67. Not the best run, so far best run has been an 11.62 @117 with the 18' wheels but didn't catch it on video. The car still has more in it with a better launch and some drag wheels and slicks.

6.0L LSx/T56 swapped '91 Z28....10 bolt carnage
The very first time I had the car out to the track since I finished the swap, on the first run I break the 10 bolt, great...It actually broke during the burnout, the right tire was spinning but not the left, and the right one had mad wheel hop. I didn't realize it and dumped the clutch at about 4,000RPM on the launch and you can see how well that turned out...ended up with 30.15 seconds @ 23mph lol
