How To Build a Chevy 383 Stroker - Part 1: Block & Crank
This is a new multi part series on how to assemble a small block Chevy 383 stroker motor (actually it is an internal combustion engine - "motors" are electric - but I digress LOL).
MOST of the assembly applies to any small block engine. I have divided up the assembly procedure into many parts so you can skip to the specific part you are looking for, i.e: crank, camshaft, timing chain or how to adjust rockers.
This whole series was shot by myself with my iPhone so presenting, filming and assembling could all be done smoother but "ir-regardless" I hope it helps.

READ: Amy and I were bored the other day so we decided to finally fill up the Underground Racing Twin turbo Lamborghini Gallardo with 110 octane race fuel. The car was running at 20PSI which it made 1,222AWHP (See Dyno Graph: http://razzi.me/p/66649).

1964 twin turbo impala ss "Buttons" roadster initial tuning
This is the 1964 Impala we built some time ago, it has been on BET Spring Bling (called Buttons) as well as some other programming.
These are the initial tests with the new engine combination AFR headed, forged 383 with Garret twin turbos. In the process a B&M 4l60e and a Holley Fuel Injection was added as well.
We limited the horsepower to just over 600, but it still made almost 800 ft/lbs or torque, at almost 7 psi of Boost.
These were a couple of part throttle roll-ins. The turbos started making Boost at about 1200 rpm. Really made for a fun ride.

Spike 1986 LS1 swaped Camaro
A day at the Dyno for calibration. April 30, 2011.
About the car (from my brother SpikeIROC) :
- The car is an 1986 Camaro IROC.
- Headlights are eBay cheapos that will soon be swapped for LED projectors.
- It put down 400 whp and 390 tq thu a T56 and a fabbed 9" rear end.
- Brakes are C6Z front and rear.
- I swapped hatch to get the cleaner look I was looking for.
- It was trailered to the Dyno because it was not tuned and I was not willing to risk damaging my new engine.
- The car The wheels are Bonspeed Intense 5. They are now powdercoated satin black.

This beast sports a twin turbo 522cid big block Chevy that screams out 1250hp on pump gas and a ridiculous 2000hp on race gas! Ever go 0 to 150mph in 5 seconds -- Butch can. Butch and his 3700lb Pontiac cruise the local streets (with parachute, of course) and run the quarter in 7 seconds. How many 70 year old men have the nuts to mash the throttle on 2000hp?
