2012 BMW K1600GT vs. 2011 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS

Sport-Touring taken to the next level BMW and Kawasaki have long battled in the sport-touring category and have gone head-to-head in shootouts on this site since 1996. This time BMW takes aim at the Kawasaki Concours 14 with some heavy artillery in the form of the new K1600GT. For full review: http://www.motorcycle.com/shoot-outs/2012-bmw-k1600gt-vs-2011-kawasaki-concours-14-abs-video-91105.html Sport-touring riders don't carry city maps in their bags. They're the type that pulls out a state — or even country — map and places pins at the start and end points. In between, they search for the longest squiggly lines they can find, preferably in succession. They're a discerning type, too. In order to ride long distances, the chosen motorcycle has to be plenty comfy yet have provisions to carry everything needed for the journey. Not only that, but sometimes their steed serves as the only companion on the trip, so it also needs to inspire, motivate and thrill. 2013 Sport-Touring Shootout 1.0
Since Yamaha was kind enough to revamp the FJR1300 for 2013, we thought it was high time to see how it stacked up against the Honda ST1300 and Kawasaki Concours 14 in a sport-touring shootout. http://www.motorcycle.com/shoot-outs/2013-sporttouring-shootout-10-video-91 504.html Subscribe! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=Motorcycle YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/Motorcycle Facebook - http://facebook.com/MotorcycleCom Twitter - http://twitter.com/MotorcycleCom Web - http://www.Motorcycle.com Established in 1994, Motorcycle.com is the premiere online resource for motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts. With standard-setting ergos, a large windshield, plenty of practical storage space and a liter-size engine with plenty of performance, this bike quickly became a favorite, achieving cult status over its 21-year life span.

2015 Polaris Slingshot First Look
The not-so-secret 2015 Polaris Slingshot has a steering wheel and bucket seats. So we shouldn’t even be reviewing it, right? I kinda felt that way when given the assignment. In hindsight, though, I’m glad I had the opportunity. The Slingshot’s an absolute blast, and at $19,999 for the base model, it’s gonna give Can-Am’s Spyder ($18,999 for the ST) some stiff competition. 2014 Super Naked Street Brawl
In the track version of our Super Streetfighter Smackdown, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R won over the BMW S1000R by the narrowest of margins. Which is all well and good for the small percentage of riders who'll actually take these bikes to the track. For the greater population, riding these motorcycles on the mean streets of America, the streetable personas of these two and the Ducati Monster 1200S and Kawasaki Z1000 ABS are far more important. IDIOT WITH TOO MUCH HORSEPOWER!!!
sry haters, i can't hear you over the sound of me crashing into family cars while i'm busy fakeing my speedo :-) READ THIS FUCKING SHIT BEFORE POSTING! the speedo shows a little bit too much speed because of the shorter transmission (16/44). real top speed at 13.500 RPM (removed limiter) is 291 kph. all speeds are in KPH, NOT MPH! song: "needless - speed metal 3" bike: Suzuki GSX-R 1000 K5 tunings: arrow Exhaust, K&N airfilter please notice: this bike is for racetrack only since end 2012

2013 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS - First Ride
I test ride a 2013 Kawasaki Concours 14 ABS and give my impressions of this beast of a sport touring bike.

2012 Kawasaki Concours 14 Ride Review and Impressions
On a recent Kawasaki "Good Times Street Demo" Day, I had a chance to test ride a 2012 Kawasaki Concours 14. We rode in a group for about 30 minutes. We had 2 or 3 Kawasaki guides riding with us. A buddy of mine was on the Connie right in front of me. I ride a CBR600F4 , so that is my point of reference and comparison to the Concours. I did not expect to enjoy riding this bike so much. It was very comfortable and had great power. I can see why people choose these bikes for longer rides/ Note: This vlog details my impressions riding the 2012 Kawasaki Concours 14. I do not pretend to be performing an expert road test. If that is what you are looking for, go to an online motorcycle mag. What I do present is my opinion and the fun I had on this bike.
