MTI Racing Six Shooter Sequential Transmission
Shot by ChadBee Photography at Atlanta Motorsports Park.
MTI Racing proudly announces their new Six Shooter Sequential Transmission
Conversion System. This conversion comes complete with everything you will
need for no-lift, clutch-less upshifts and automatic rev-matching down
shifts. The conversion system is comprised of:
- sequential transmission
- shift linkage
- load cell shift knob
- neutral/reverse lockout
- electronic control unit (ECU)
Corvette platforms currently supported include: C5, C6, C6 Z06, and ZR1.
The upgraded transmission fits without vehicle modification and bolts
directly to a factory differential and driveline.
MTI Racing has partnered with Pfitzner Performance Gearboxes (PPG) for this
exciting endeavor. PPG is an Australian based company with a well-built
reputation as being one of the world's leading providers of gears for track
and motorsports. Specifically, PPG supplies many of the gears for the
Australian V8 Super Cars Series. With over 600 HP, these cars see massive
abuse every time they take the track.
Think how long it takes to blink your eye just once; the average speed is
about 300 milliseconds. With shift times as low as 50 milliseconds, gear
changes are done in a fraction of the time that it takes to complete one
blink of the eye. This gives you, the driver, the ability to shift faster than other drivers and creates a
true competitive edge over your opponents.
While the full video is still in production, enjoy the intro video created
from our exciting test program. Stay tuned for updates!

Gearbox Cut and Shut
Cutting both bell housings from a RB25 gearbox and a SR20 in order to
eventually have the SR20 flange welded to the RB25 gearbox so that it can
be fitted into a Nissan S13 200 SX which keeps destroying gearboxes.

RB20 S14 turbo lag part 1
after rebuilding the RB20 and adding a new Garrett T4 1.15 A/R divided
housing+ quick spool valve, .6 compressor.
at this point there is no Exhaust and
the quick spool valve is wide open (full 1.15 housing). demonstrating how
laggy this turbo is when the quick spool
valve is not functioning. the Boost
threshold point is much higher in the rpm's, right about when i am
shifting. only making 4-6 psi (8 psi gate) at about 5500-6K
