foresterclub.gr snow ride
A snow ride with foresterclub. Only 2 foresters had snow tires, but the
snow was old, thick and stiff, so it wasn't easy to pass, especially the
first one who open the road.
My car was with nokian hakkapeliitta R. Very good in icy snow, but very bad
in deep snow because of their thick tread. Thats why it wasn't so easy to
open the road.
A year before with cooper wheathermaster s/t 2 with dilute tread, the car
was unstoppable. Watch the videos from 12-30-2009 till 1-30-2010.

Subaru Forester Off Road - Bunyip Rock Climb - Part 3 of 3
1999 Subaru forester off-roading in the Bunyip state park, Victoria,
Australia. This is Part 3 of 3. This is a very difficult track (bullock
link rd) which in the end I could not make. Well outside the Foresters
limits without diff locks. Very fun though. After this video the camera ran
out of battery but I ended up having to get the my front mount winch out to
save the day.

Poughkeepsie Gulch Trail - Subaru Forester Off Road
THE SHORT VERSION
- This car does NOT have low range.
- This car was driving up steep terrain at high elevation, so it was down
- The clutch was not trashed as was depicted in the video (at the time, I
thought it was).
Yes, this is the short version of the footage. Moral of the story is
"Clutch". Was trying to be delicate with it, but in the end, decided it was
time for it to be replaced. We turned around on the trail about a mile from
the end as my clutch couldn't take the loose scree, steep hills and the
loss of power from altitude anymore. This car needs low range!
