2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8. I
take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car
while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling
cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it,
start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough
tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall
appreciation of the vehicle.
Dodge Magnum SRT8 burnout
430hp wore out tires with four new tires at shop....we figured there was a
little smoke left in the old ones!
Magnum SRT8 with new Borla ATAK Catback
New Exhaust from Borla. The ATAK
system, (very aggresive), part # tbd, soon available for the 2005 - 2008
Dodge Magnum. This has been installed on my 2006 SRT8. Welcoming comments
and if this system interests you, call Borla and request it!
3.5 L Chrysler V6 Spark Plug Change (Magnum, Charger, Challenger)
How I changed spark plugs on a 3.5 L V6 non-transverse mounted Chrysler
engine in a SXT Magnum.
I don't usually work on Chrysler products, excuse my ignorance about how to
do this from the start. I usually work on Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus
products and am much, much more familiar with them.
Tools I needed (used):
15 mm open end wrench
Spark plug socket
Needle Nose Pliers
10mm open end/box end wrench
10mm deep well socket
Flat head screwdriver (common end)
Spark Plugs (NGK OEM Laser Platinum)
Feel free to ask questions or comment. I didn't call the dealership to
find out how much they would have charged. I paid $5.66 x 6 for the NGK
Plugs and a few dollars for anti-seize so it was just under $40.

Disclaimer: I am not responsible for damage done while working on your
vehicle. How I describe or show things is how it works for me. When I do
a job, I do it correctly and don't skimp on parts. I only buy premium
aftermarket parts or OEM parts from a dealership.
Zoomers Exhaust Install on Magnum SRT-8
I recently had a Zoomers full Catback Exhaust installed on my Dodge Magnum SRT-8. It
is a real improvement in sound; a great low throaty growl. Not too
obnoxiously loud - just right. It definitely lets you know there is a 6.1L
Hemi under the hood! Noticable power increase as well - especially when
teamed with my CAI. R.P.M., my local mod shop of choice, took expert care
of the installation. rpmsuperstore.com zoomersExhaust.com
2006 Dodge Magnum SRT-8 Review
Meet the Dodge Magnum SRT-8, America's first race inspired full-size wagon.
The Magnum SRT-8 is powered by a 6.1l Hemi V8 bumping out 425 hp.
Stopping is brought courtesy of 14" Brembo brakes encased in 20" forged
aluminum wheels that are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. All
of this, and the Magnum SRT-8 allows for 71 cubic feet of storing space,
making it the most performance oriented grocery cart in the world.
Finally, Dodge has found their niche.
