My 95 Buick Riviera
3.8L Supercharged V6
Vinyl top w/ moonroof
18'' chrome wheels
10'' JL Sub with 2 amps
New project: 1997 Buick Riviera Supercharged
PIcked this one up off Craigslist for $400 plus $50 to deliver it. Car
runs and drives but has what sounds like rod knock. I still need to to
some diagnostic work, but that's what it sounds like to me, and the guy I
bought it from was a mechanic and thinks the same. The car is fully loaded
with what looks to be every option offered right down the traction control
and engine block heater. The car has just under 100k on it and it in
excellent shape in and out. The car has been sitting for a year or so and
looks it, but it will get washed when it gets warmer.
Buick Riviera Burnout
My 1971 Buick Riviera does a 100 foot burnout. This is a 4500 lb. luxury
car with a mild 455 (7.5 Liter) V8 and automatic transmission. Behold the
power of the the Buick Big Block
1980 Buick Riviera Dealer Demonstration
This is form a 1979 promotional LaserDisc that I found it is for 1980 model
In 1978 GM contracted with Pioneer and MCA/DiscoVision to put the Pioneer
PR-7800 LaserDisc player into its dealerships, the discs where to be used
for demonstrations as in this disc or for training purposes.
Now in the early days of laserDisc manufacture there was a very high
failure rate, sometimes as high as 85% during the mastering/pressing
process, so that left a lot of sides of discs that where unusable. Well
these where used to fill the blank side of a disc, the "dead" side was then
coated with a special plastic that was clear to the human eye, but it would
not reflect the laser beam, thus the side would not play. Well the coating
can be removed with rubbing alcohol, which is what I did.
These reject discs will ONLY play on the older style of laserDisc player
that uses a laser tube.
Bad-Ass Buick: 1955 Special - /BIG MUSCLE
• Harry Fisher
In stock form, the 1955 Buick Special could best be described as a "nice"
car. It's not drop dead gorgeous like a 1959 Impala, nor does it have the
panache of say a 1956 Chrysler 300. You see the '55 Buick Special was a
working mans car. It had room enough for the whole family, a decent
power-plant thanks to its 264 cubic inch V8, and style that was, well...
above average. Harry Fisher or "Uncle Harry" as most people know him, saw
the old Buick a bit differently though. He knew that with a few little
touches (like a 502 cubic inch big-block, modern suspension, and a new set
of wheels) that this old Buick had the potential to become one of the
baddest hot-rods around.
1995 Buick Riviera Transmission swap pt. 2
Mid progress on the swap... Swapping the tranny in the Riv I just bought.
The subframe is a 1 piece deal so I am going to pull the engine out of the
top, instead of dropping it like I normally would. I also have to change
a few things, water pump, and put a new rattler coupler in the blower.
1966 Buick Convertible Barn Find Rescue, Part 1
This is the story of a '66 Buick Special convertible that had been
abandoned in Arizona in 1978 by the family of Rick Pewe, editor of 4-Wheel
& Off-Road magazine. In 2011, the guys from HOT ROD Magazine, in
conjunction with Rick, spent four days bringing the car back from the dead
with plans to drive it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. This is part 1,
with the hacking fun the guys had rescuing the car. Look for part two,
loaded with road-trip hilarity. The story is printed in the September 2011
issue of HOT ROD Magazine.
My '95 Buick Riviera
This video is part of many videos from Car Day at my house. Car Day is when
we take out all our Buicks, clean them up, then line them up for pictures.
After that we take drive-by videos, at least on the cars that have changed
or new cars we have. This is my '95 Riviera with a subtle but audible Supercharger whine. It's louder nowadays so
maybe I'll take a new video soon.
1963 Buick Riviera 401 cu/in Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive
variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth
look at the first generation 1963 Buick Riviera. GM's first "personal
luxury car". Designed for those looking for luxury and style with a thirst
for performance. With dramatic styling for 1963 and arguably one of the
nicest looking interior's from the 60s, the Riviera was definitely ahead of
it's time. Design cues can even be seen with the last generation (8th gen)
riviera from 1995-1999. Potent 401 cu/in (6.6) and automatic transmission,
a timeless classic! During this presentation, we will take a 1st person
look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up,
performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build
quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and
exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get
from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight
key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available
options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the
good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior
perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a
greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will
find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world,
presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this
gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you
can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is
consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my
presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960
Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of
vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of
the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new,
exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have
built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted
to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be
sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's
Seat of YouTube!
