AWE B8 S4 Exhaust
This video was designed to capture the before and after audio as a result
of upgrading to the resonated, full Exhaust system offered from AWE tuning. For
those who dont want to hear the stock sounds and want to go right to the
glorious sounds of the AWE Exhaust,
skip ahead to 1:42 in the video. Hopefully this video helps offer some
real world driving scenarios to get a better understanding of how this Exhaust might sound on your car. This Exhaust is very civil when cruising
around town and doesn't drone. But when it's time to go wide open
throttle, it exudes some rather prodigious, delightful sounds. This Exhaust system is the resonated version
and includes the downpipes offered by AWE. The vehicle in this video is
equipped with the S-tronic transmission and factory intake system. For
those looking for an even louder setup, AWE also offers a non resonated
version of this Exhaust.
STaSIS 2010 S4 Exhaust Testing
STaSIS stopped by the shop yesterday to show off their spanking new 2010 S4
Exhaust. It was the exact same car
featured in this video. This is the "Touring" version of the Exhaust (low RPM resonators) and it sounded just
right (not too loud). Check out for yourself. You can always upgrade to the
"Challenge" sound via a $100 kit if this is too quiet for you.

Launch control on the B8 Audi S4 s-tronic
So I was over at Raven Motorsports today to pickup my spacers. I got into
a conversation with Matt about launch control. He told me he knows how to
do it. I assumed it was so ghetto way, but then when he took me through it
I realized it was actual launch control. He told me it was a big secret
but I managed to convince him to let me share it with the world. So...but
props to him and Raven motorsports.

APR is pleased to present our first RSC™ Exhaust System for the Audi marque in the new
3.0T B8 S4 Model Years 2010+.
Reflective Sound Cancellation allows for maximum Exhaust gas flow while completely eliminating in
cabin sound resonance (drone). RSC™ incorporates innovative technologies
developed in conjunction with NASA. With limited use of packing materials
and no baffles, RSC™ allows for a completely straight and free flowing Exhaust path through the RSC™ mufflers.
Reflective Cancellation bounces the undesirable sound waves into each other
to attenuate the wave and completely eliminate the low frequency tones that
create drone. Each RSC™ muffler is tuned to eliminate specific,
undesirable sound frequencies allowing only the engine's desirable Exhaust notes to be heard and improving
The OEM Exhaust system consists of
Headers, Catalytic Converters, Resonated Downpipes, a Center Resonator,
Rear Mufflers and Exhaust Tips. The
APR RSC™ Performance Exhaust System
is a Full Catback Exhaust System as it
replaces the OEM Resonated Downpipes, Center Resonator, Rear Mufflers and
On stock software the Exhaust saw
gains of up to 18 HP.
