[Project Wheezy Breezy] Dads 1988 Monte Carlo LS Small Block Chevy 305 bored .040 over (313c.i) with ported Vortec heads & custom 1.98 intake valve, with small Comp Hydraulic Roller Cam 230/230 Duration @50 .510 Lift on a 108 Lobe Sep. Air Gap Intake, 670 Holley Double Pumper Carb, Comp ProMag Roller Rockers, Summit Ignition Box with MSD Distributor & Coil, 1'' 5/8 Headers, Full (2 1/2'') H-Pipe Exhaust into Dual 40 Series Flowmaster Mufflers. PA turbo 350 Transmission B&M HoleShot 3600 stall & 4.56 Gears, Edlelbrock Suspension in the rear.... Getting prepped for paint booth with SS front clip. This is just something we did for fun to see what kind of power we could get out of a small cubic inch 305 with just some spare parts we had lying around.

Chevy 305 Acceleration
Chevy 305 in a 76 Camaro. Goes from 40 to 90 mph, starting at 4500 rpm in first gear. Has a 8.1 CR. I let off the gas going into second or else it will slide into the ditch at 70 mph. It's not the fastest, but I love it anyway. Edit: Dynoed at 237.5 rwhp.

Exhaust 2 1/2'' into a High Flow Metallic substrate MagnaFlow Spun Cat in a 2 1/2'' single inlet Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler, dual outlet 2 1/4'' tailpipes turned down under bumper. Sounds much better than stock cat.

this is my 86 ss im building so far i have put a cam lifters and spring in for the first time.i still working on it but i atill need to get the timing right i did it with out a timing tape or light but like i said it my first time so tell what yall think.yeah it has headers with straight pipes right now and timing gear.my distributor is maying a clicking noise or something anyone know what that means.

My Dad and I built this car and have had it since it was brand new in '84. Learned how to drive in this car! 1984 Monte Carlo SS. 350 HO GM Performance crate engine, comp cam, Edlelbrock RPM intake manifold, 2.5" Exhaust, headers, B&M torque converter, lowered, 17x8 torque thrust wheels, Baer brake track kit, Yukon 3.73 gears and chromoly axle shafts, LSD diff, HD cross member and cut outs for true dual Exhaust, too much to list. Sorry for the terrible sound quality when it cranks up. Cheap camera! 1986 monte ss ,1974 350, 0.30 over bore, 488 lift 292 duration cam 3.75 scat stroker crank, 5.7 eagle rods, 4.030 hyper pistons with press fit pins, 1997 (062) vortec heads with a " ghetto grind " on the valve retainers for valve to seal clearance, 4 speed saginaw with a hurst flat bar shifter, zoom clutch and pressure plate, 373 posi in the rear with an eaton unit, video of the monte in action will be coming soon!
