Replacing valve stem seals in 305 H.O. small block chevy from 1986 Monte Carlo SS
I'm putting the original 305HO back in the Monte after taking the ZZ3 out for my Iroc project. This is mainly to make the car mobile but it may end up tagged with this engine for a while. Previous owner reported that this 305 has over 100k miles on it and has been out of the car since 1997. He said it smoked during startup and sure enough the valve stem seals were worn out. Hopefully this will fix the issue.

The REAL Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1970 - 1977
Chevrolet presented the public with the Monte Carlo personal luxury car in 1970, this car was an instant success, even for people who would never buy from GM. Outsold only by the Ford Thunderbird, and Gran Torino, the Monte Carlo was a great car, (say for the large doors, and cheezy GM hinges that broke). The modern Monte Carlo is nothing more than a cheap FWD welfare sedan known as Lumina.....and it's usually welfare that own them, how sad. Another fine GM name dragged thru the shit again..

Sounds better in real than on video. Yes, there is a partial front end conversion (headlamps from a 76-77 Monte Carlo).

Muscle Truck Revamp on a 1974 Chevrolet C10! - Hot Rod Garage Ep. 5
On this episode of Hot Rod Garage Presented by Lincoln Tech we revamp the Muscle Truck, our 1974 Chevrolet C10. In episode 28 of Roadkill we ripped the stepside fenders off the bed and cut the front sheet metal to make room for aggressive off-road rubber so that we could roost through the Imperial Sand Dunes. The fenderless version of the Muscle Truck was fun but it’s high time we restore the truck to her former glory. We’ll replace the rapidly deteriorating particle board bed floor with new oak slats and bolt-on a new pair of aftermarket front fenders. We’ll also add a bit of functionality to the truck by covering the massive step notch in the rear frame rails with sheet metal, which will keep stuff from falling out of the bed. As usual, Finnegan and Freiburger will answer viewer questions pulled from our Facebook page and Lincoln Tech instructors and students will drop a bit of knowledge in a HOT ROD Garage appears every fourth Thursday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=motortrend Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/HOTRODGarageShow, http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & http://facebook.com/hotrodmag Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/hotrodmagazine Google + - https://plus.google.com/+motortrend/posts Website - http://www.motortrend.com & http://www.hotrod.com
