Shore to Ship and Back again - by Land Rover!
LRO spend a day with 40 Commando, The Royal Marines, 11 (ATT) Squadron,
Instow, Devon. Mark Saville drove out to the landing craft and back, first
as co-driver with trainer Phil Royale and then as driver. The water was
1.5-metres deep by the landing craft with waves occasionally breaking over
the vehicle, I got very wet. The full feature is in LRO Feb 09 on sale
December 31, 2008.

Yeti Concept Truck
Master fabricator Rex Bailey used the Samson™ CNC machine to build the
"Yeti" (the abominable snowman), a monster truck that drives through snow
more than 3 feet deep. The 76-inch tractor tires, Unimog portal axles, and
modified Dodge 3500 Cummins diesel truck are all joined together by
custom-designed plates that Rex made with the machine.

2015 Range Rover Long Wheelbase Autobiography Black -Design - OFFICIAL
Land Rover has officially announced the 2015 Range Rover LWB, a
long-wheelbase model specifically designed for chauffeur-loving markets
such as China, and apparently the GCC as well, because the stretched
offroader is going to be launched at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show.
The UAE's largest auto show will be the model's first stop, then it will
appear at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and finally at the Guangzhou Motor
Show in China, during November. The 2015 model will be the first
long-wheelbase Range Rover in 20 years, with 140 mm of extra legroom and
double the recline angle for the rear seats, which are available either as
a bench or individual seats. Rear passengers get to use automatic window
blinds, a panoramic sunroof and a sliding front passenger seat for even
more legroom. There won't be a third-row seat.

Real Man's 4WD Track
A Land Rover Defender drives up a "Real Man's" 4WD track.
One brave soul attempted it in a Landcruiser but failed before even getting
both sets of wheels on the ramp. He is currently at home trying to fix his
The video was taken at the Maitland 4WD & Camping Show 2009 and the
ramp is 5.5M above the ground.
The majority of the drive is done with the driver seeing nothing but sky.
