Mark Saville drives Lix Toll's tracked Defender 110
Lix Toll Garage, in Perthshire has recreated one of its trademark machines,
a bright yellow tracked Land Rover. For years, a towering Series IIA
Cuthbertson Conversion stood sentinel outside the Highland garage and was
photographed by countless Land Rover fans, including LRO's Mark Saville.
That was over 20 years ago. Now, he's finally got behind the wheel and

Logging timber in Norway, felling, bucking, delimbing, stacking...
Desember 2008. Hogstmaskin og lassbærer nær Lasken. Length of transport
is 22 meters, they said they are allowed a total weight of 56 tons (56.000
kg). Approx 20 tons is the vehicle, approx 36 tons is timber. Here in the
fir-forest, taking out ordinary norwegian spruce. It is taken to Drammen
and then by barge to Tofte, Hurum for pulp production.

Jez decided to come out and play at Slab Common.
He managed to play nicely all day, then when the punters had gone there may
have been some showing off ;)

Glussadrif Defender hydraulic powered.
Dassi prófar glussadrifið í bílnum hans Halldórs. Þetta bara
svínvirkar. David in the Icelandic Land Rover owners club, tries the
hydraulic powered lo gear. In this video, the Defender is in neutral gear,
and no clutch is used. Engine is in idle, just controlled with Halldors
patented hydraulic system.
