Toyota Aygo Crazy
CAR associate editor Sudhir Matai introduces us to Toyota's new Aygo budget
supermini and its stripped-down, powered-up track special alter ego, the
Aygo Crazy Concept. Watch as CAR track tester Deon Joubert exploits the 150
kW and 250 N.m of torque served up by the Crazy's mid-mounted 1,8-litre turbo engine in a tyre-smoking track
session. You can read the full road test of the Toyota Aygo in the June
issue of CAR magazine or find out more about this car at this link:

Volkswagen - Fox no Planeta Terra - Twitter Zoom - English
Volkswagen decided to sponsor the Planeta Terra Festival (big music fest in
São Paulo) as it was a great opportunity to bring their trendy car, the
Fox, closer to city's youth. Then came our challenge: spread the Fox
message beyond the event walls, reaching every youngster in São Paulo.
First, we spread a series of tickets in different places within' São
Paulo. Then, we launched an online platform where visitors could see the
Google Maps of the entire city. The mechanic was simple: the more tweets
#foxatplanetaterra, the closer the zoom on the map. The first one to get to
the ticket, won it. This went on for four days straight.
The tweet #foxatplanetaterra became a TrendTopic in São Paulo in less than
2 hours, where it remained for the entire length of the competition.
VW Fox: Carro assassino decepa dedo dos motoristas
VW Fox cut off driver's fingers! Must see this! Volkswagen
Discussion about sucker VW Fox:
Versão brasileira do VW Fox apresenta dispositivo mal feito que decepa
os dedos dos motoristas. Dispositivo para rebater banco traseiro é uma
verdadeira armadilha e induz usuário ao erro. Jamais uma atividade tão
banal deveria apresentar perigo tão grande as pessoas. EXEMPLO DE TOTAL
DESCASO E DESRESPEITO DA VOLKSWAGEM COM O BRASIL, que não procura elimiar
as condições de risco presentes em seus veículos!
Reportagem exibida no Jornal Nacional - Rede Globo, 08/02/08. No dia
anterior passou matéria semelhante na Bandeirantes.
As the result, he had several injuries in his hand and ONE FINGER CUT OFF.
This owner is suing the vw Brazil, and a report has been issued by a very
reliable institute that proves that vw instructions were vague, attributing
all the blame to vw Brazil.
The report shows pictures of the finger, and is written in Portuguese. For
those who don't speak Portuguese, there is a translator that can help with
What really bothers me is the fact that vw of Brazil has refused to take
any responsibility for the accident, and until now, no recall has been
performed. VW Brazil has done absolutely nothing about the case.
I really have to agree with so many: VW sucks, but also cut off fingers!
DONT BUY A VW!
Some people may still remember the old VW fox. It was a Brazilian compact
sedan assembled in Brazil and exported to the American and Canadian markets
in the late 80's. The car was never a success, but nowadays the nameplate
fox was resuscitated and there is a new vw fox being built in Brazil. It's
the new vw fox, a small compact hatch developed in Brazil.

The car also has a pseudo SUV version or something like that, called by VW
of Brazil by SUC, or Sport Utility Compact, and it really sucks.
