High Performance Imports v2 - part 2 - GT-R drag racing
Part two of the HPIv2 DVD is the GT-R class of an HKS All Japan street drag
meeting at Sendai Highland, Tohoku Japan. 32 street-registered Skyline
GT-Rs running deep into the nines. See part part 3 for Pro Class cars.
The High Performance Imports DVD series was produced by Ben Ellis, first at
Express Publications and later at Otomoto. This second edition was
originally released on VHS in 2001, then re-released on DVD in 2003. At the
time English-language videos about the Japanese tuning scene were very
scarce, but drag racing and drifting were approaching their peak. A lot of
the JDM trends you see today actually started around this time.
The original DVD is still available from www.otomoto.com.au

Truck Fest 2013: Smokey Big Rigs Burnouts & Drag Racing Revealed
( http://www.TFLtruck.com ) When you think of a Big Rig Semi...you probably
don't immediately think of drag racing...or do you? This weekend at
Bandimere Speedway just outside of Denver, Colorado hundreds of Big Rig
Semi trucks lined up on the drag strip to see which one is the kind of the
mile high drag strip and which one is the fastest mile high pickup
dragster. Can a big rig run a sub 20 second quarter mile? You bet. Can a
big rig run a sub 15 mile....no problem. Can a Big Rig run a sub 10 second
time? You'll have to watch the video to find out. In another fun and
informative TFLtruck video we see what happens when the Big Rig Semi Trucks
line up behind the Christmas Tree.

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 vs 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition! - Head 2 Head Ep. 52
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jonny Lieberman travels to Barber
Motorsports Park for a head to head matchup with the brand new Chevy Camaro Z/28 and a well
known heavyweight, the Nissan GT-R. But not just any GT-R, the 2014 Track
Edition which packs a 545 hp twin-turbo
V-6, a 6-speed dual clutch transmission, sticky Dunlop tires and AWD
traction into a car without rear seats. The Z/28, by way of contrast,
features a massive 7.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8, a 6-speed manual
transmission, and tail-out RWD. While it does still have rear seats, nearly
every other non-essential component has been removed. Moreover, the Z28's
tires might be even stickier! The front ones, enormous 305-sections, are
certainly the widest tires ever bolted to a production car. Both cars are
phenomenal, and both cars make rational men scream, "Gimme!" But only one
can come out on top. Watch and find out!
Head 2 Head appears every fourth Wednesday on the Motor Trend channel.
