*NOTE: The "no-gas method" is NOT intended to be used in everyday driving. It is simply to determine (indicate) the friction or the catch point of your clutch. You MUST apply gas as you release the clutch to accelerate otherwise, you WILL stall! Hope this clears everything up. =) *
A lot of my friends don't know how to drive a manual transmission so I decided to make a video. And I use the word "basically" way too much. =P

How To Drive A Manual - (The Secret To Never Stalling)
We at Vehicle-Virgins™ are a dedicated group of college students here to
help you make one of the most important decisions of your life: buying your
first car. What sets us apart from other consumer review organizations is
our perspective of review; we approach the cars as any kid would, not only
as a professional automotive journalist would. We take into account
real-world decision factors such as budget, reliability, safety, and
maintenance, but we also rate cars on their appeal to a younger market. At
19 and 20 years old, we have spent lots of time looking for our first cars,
and we know what appeals to us as well as our friends.
Our mission is to guide individuals in the right direction for their first
car. Vehicle-Virgins reviews popular cars that young buyers are in the
market for and helps them decide if the car they are looking at is a good
We are lighthearted individuals who are passionate about cars and hope you
find our reviews both informative and funny.

could say I've been driving stick for about 8 months. Yes this is my car.
No you can't drive it. There's a good chance that you'll get the pedals
mixed up the first few times you drive stick...don't worry it's all about
muscle memory, remember?

UK Driving Test 1/6 - LDC driving schools
Part 1 of 6 parts of a full UK driving test video from LDC driving schools
(https://www.learnerdriving.com). These videos form part of the
revolutionary LD System. The LD System video programme is used in
conjunction with the LDC driving skills workbook. These resources together
with guidance from an expert LDC driving instructor provide one of the most
effective and efficient ways to learn to drive and become a safe driver for
Too many driving instructors focus too much attention on telling their
pupils what to do and what to think! This approach only fosters dependency,
doubt and blind obedience, such that once the test is passed they do all
the things they were told not to do. The LDC approach is designed to foster
self-reliance, confidence and responsibility resulting in safer drivers who
learn to drive far more quickly and thoroughly.
Unlike traditional instruction LDC heavily promotes student centred
learning. This involves the student being encouraged to take more
responsibility for their own development by using the LD System materials
before and after each lesson and by using discovery learning with self
determination and reflection rather than being told what to do by the
instructor. In particular talk through instruction, prompted practice and
long winded explanations are avoided, if at all possible - instead
encouraging the student to work it out for themselves - to become good

Pontefract is a nice quiet town and as such is an ideal place to take the

Leeds, Wakefield, Doncaster and York. Direct trains go from Kings Cross
