2012 BMW M3 DTM
A new BMW. -Info- Despite having our first glimpse a few days ago, BMW pulled the covers off their M3 DTM race car today which is set to do battle with fellow German rivals Audi and Mercedes-Benz for the first time in 2012. During the reveal ceremony, BMW Motorsport drivers Andy Priaulx (GB) and Augusto Farfus (BR) were also introduced. On display over the weekend at BMW Welt in Munich, the BMW M3 DTM Concept Car is powered by an air restricted V8 engine, according to the technical regulations, and generates approximately 480 PS (353 kW / 473 bhp). The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about three seconds and has a top speed of approx. 300 km/h (186 mph).

DTM 1995 - Hockenheim Finale - Race 1
First race at the DTM Final back in 1995. Here Opel finally scored the first (double) victory in the DTM ever. In the next to last DTM race ever, as in 1996 this championship was called "ITC". Klaus Ludwig won that race followed by my Opel-colleague Manuel Reuter and a young storming semi-works driver for Mercedes, named Uwe Alzen. Kindly excuse the wobbles once more... DTM Norisring 1993 - Race 2
