In 2010 Hans Reiter, Reiter Engineering founder and director, had an idea to convert a Chevrolet Camaro into a GT. After months of work and tests the car was ready and Reiter Engineering established a new division in the form of SaReNi Camaro whose target is to transform the Camaro into a trendsetting racecar. The car is moved by a 7.9 litre V8 engine (designed and manufactured by Katech) which is able to produce more than 650 hp and a max torque of 800 Nm.
