The STM crew shake down, the HD2 EVO at a private test day prior to the Northern Nationals at Fram Autolight Dragway, Meremere, New Zealand.
With a soft tune to get some data, the car went 1.17 to the 60'.
We only got one pass in as we found tiny pinhole in the intake port of the cylinder head. This resulted in oil from the rocker cover entering the port at idle. The pin hole is the result of a thin section of the head casting where the head was ported which didn't show up until the car was put under some stress at the track.
The car will be racing next at the South Island Champs. Thanks for all your support.

2/7/11 - Eric actually lifted early on this pass. At the end of the video you hear Bob Newberry calling out to Steve. The rest of Bob's statement was, "AND he lifted early!" I believe the numbers for this pass was:
