What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Tacoma: The Tacoma is in a
class that barely has any trucks for it anymore, this Tacoma generation
hasn't seen a full redesign since 2005, however there has been minor tweaks
in the recent years like LED Tailamps and a upgraded infotainment system as
well as bluetooth. Power comes from a 2.7 L 4-Cylinder or a 4.0 L V6
through many options through a 5-Speed Manual or Automatic and many more.
Is this enough for the Tacoma to compete in this class? Of course it is the
Tacoma dominates this class, with way more outdated competitors like the
Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon that stopped production in 2013, however
you can still find one for the 2012 model year. All in all we think the
Tacoma is a smart choice.
Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road in Snow Powder
Filmed in the mountains of Colorado. Vehicle is a 2013 Toyota Tacoma with
TRD package. A GoPro Hero 3 (http://www.gopro.com) mated to a Fat Gecko
(http://www.delkin.com) was used to record video. In some scenes, the GoPro
was held by hand. Video was recorded at a resolution of 1920x1080 at 60
(actually 59.94) frames per second with ProTune ON and white balance set to
RAW. Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere Pro (CS6) was used to edit the video and
perform color correction. Video was exported using the YouTube HD 1080p
29.97 FPS setting under the H.264 file format. No stabilization of the
video was performed.

2012 Toyota Tacoma Review
Just recently sold my Ranger and upgraded to this monster. This truck isn't
even in the same league as the Ford Ranger. Although it does have its minor
flaws, the Tacoma is a really awesome truck.
Some people in online reviews have mentioned that they don't like the
squishy feel of the brake pedal. Since the truck has ABS brakes, I felt
like I did have to put a little more effort into stopping the truck.
However, I eventually got used to it.
Other handy features that I forgot to add:
- Small storage compartments on the side of the truck bed.
- Front passenger seat folds up so you can use the back of the seat as a
- Clutch start cancel button.
- Rollover side air bag cancel button for off-road use.
- Tilt and telescopic steering wheel.
- Water bottle storage at the bottom of the driver and front passenger
