This is a crossover SUV that is made with some of the best fuel standards around and works with a third row of seats that is easy for anyone to manage. It has become one of the most notable 7 seat SUVs around and has become so popular that it can be found today in various trims. Read about the Chevrolet Traverse 2011 first!. A key about the 2012 Chevy Traverse is that it features a number of points that are similar to what it has had in the past but it will have a few changes that still make it impressive. Meanwhile, this is expected to be the last of the current Traverse models. A full redesign of Chevy Traverse is expected for 2013. It is not clear as to what the new version will have but the current 2012 version will be a good chance for anyone to pick up one of the top SUVs that seat seven. The Engine Works Right The engine that is being used for this 2012 7 seat car is the same that was used in the 2011 edition of the Traverse. It is a 3.6L V6 engine. It works to get the standard 17/24 mpg rating that was found in the previous model, thus creating something that is a little easier to manage when compared with other vehicles. These include things like the Toyota Highlander, a vehicle that is similar to the Traverse but only gets a 15/22 mpg rating. This engine works with an all wheel drive function. A six speed automatic transmission is also used here. This works with one of the smoothest acceleration procedures around, thus providing anyone with the most effective driving functions around. The suspension is also completely independent from other functions around the vehicle. This is used to create a better ride that is easier to manage. The Interior is Useful The dimensions in the Traverse are around the same as what the 2011 model used. The car has 36.8 inches of leg room in the second row and 33.2 inches in the third row. There is also about sixty inches of shoulder room in every row around the car. The third row can especially be useful not only because it has cup holders but also because it works alongside a second row that is easy to manage. The second row uses a Smart Slide seat that is easy to move around. It can be slid forward with a single motion to help create plenty of space and to make it so people can get in and out of the car as easily as possible. The fact that the second and third row seats can be laid down flat helps as well. In fact, the 2012 Chevrolet Traverse offers around 120 cubic feet of cargo space. This is much greater than what other 7 seat cars have, particularly the Ford Explorer with its 80 cubic feet of cargo space. This works with a few different features that make the car more beneficial. First, the vehicle has air bags on varying points. These include rear body and curtain air bags. I think it's the LT model but I don't remember, nonetheless, I guess this thing is pretty quick for what it is, don't you?

But there's nothing superficial or irrational about crossover SUVs like the 2009 Honda Pilot, 2008 Mazda CX-9 or 2008 Toyota Highlander. All three make good on the crossover promise of a vast interior, easy maneuverability and decent fuel economy. Maybe you're aghast that anyone would need three rows of seating, but maybe you've never tried to cram three toddlers in Britax car seats into a Honda Accord. We have. You need that third row. But if that third row were in a minivan, you might find yourself filling a prescription for antidepressants. This leaves you to consider a crossover SUV of medium-to-large proportions. Although consumers turned their backs on the biggest SUVs in the wake of 2008's gas-price spike, they have come back to family haulers, but on a slightly smaller scale. A Hyundai spokesman said the 2012 Veracruz was getting several updates and would not be available in time for our Shootout. Subaru said it did not have a suitable Tribeca available in its fleet.
