Check out this beautifully restored 1968 Plymouth Road Runner that is
in show-quality condition. Amazingly this car is believed to have only
4,501 original miles! The car was in long-term storage since the early
70's before being pulled out in 2005. Seller has known the car for many
years and has some documentation to prove the mileage. In 2008 the car
was rotisserie restored and built back to exact factory specifications
right down to the correct Frost Blue Metallic paint (Code U). The
interior is also all new and looks showroom new everywhere you look.
The entire drivetrain is #'s matching including the legendary 383 CI V8
engine, 727 Torqueflite trans, and 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gears. The
car is documented with build sheet and the Galen Govier documentation
has been ordered and should be coming any day. This is a unique
opportunity to own a rare first year Road Runner with some history
behind it. This is one of the nicest Road Runner's on the market today
and we think the color combination and stance are near perfection. All
body gaps look excellent and paint job looks better than factory would
have been. For more information or to inquire about collector vehicle

'68 Plymouth RoadRunner 383ci
Sunday trip out with my Polish mate in my Roadrunner to an American car show at Bosworth Water Park near Market Bosworth, UK. This car spent the first part of it's life in the UK being raced on the Drag strip by Dave Billadeau. It was then left to rot in a barn before being restored by the guy I bought it off.
Lot S119 1968 Plymouth Hemi Road Runner 426 425 HP 4 Speed
Seldom does a collector-grade musclecar appear that is as original as this incredible 1968 Hemi Road Runner Hemi four speed. With a scant 14,900 miles on the odometer, it retains its original sheet metal, glass, interior and Electric Blue paint. The Road Runner Décor Group adds a steering wheel with partial horn ring, center pillar bright molding trim and a rear panel appliqué. From the exterior finish through the Spartan interior to the mighty 425 horsepower dual-quad Hemi, this rare bird's condition is as one would expect in a car with barely more than a year's average mileage.
One of only 108 four-speed hardtops built in 1968, this significant car comes with the original sales contract, Certi-Card, fender tags and Galen Govier documentation. A museum or collector looking for a first-class original example of Plymouth's most important musclecar creation would be hard pressed to find a better one than this.
