3.7L V6 Mustang at Road America 2013
I took my 2011 Supercharged 3.7L V6 Mustang to Road America Race Track on
June 29-30th 2013 in Elkhart Wisconsin. This was the Annual North Woods
Shelby Club Event. I was in attendance 2 of the 3 track days. This was my
first time at Road America Race Track and I have to say I came away amazed
at how fun this track is.
This event had around 150-175 cars per day. This video is a compilation of
several runs over the two days. I had 3 cameras on the car so there are
plenty of interesting scenes. The first main clip has telemetry data from
Track Addict. I then had a go pro inside and one outside the car.
The video is a bit long but is full of action. Inside are not just Mustangs but a variety of cars.
Many of whom I was able to catch and pass. You can read more about this
track day and see more pictures at http://v6Mustangperformance.com/road-america-t
I look forward to running my Mustang at Road America at the NW SC
track day in 2014 to see how I can improve on my lap times.
1974 Pontiac Trans Am 455 start up
Firing it up and turning on the fans. Wearing the custom silver Trans Am
ring I designed and had made that matches the car. Starts right up and
idles well, at around 1300 RPM in neutral, due to the large cam. In the
last few months I had to completely go through the MSD Probillet
distributor, which, like the engine has about 300 miles on it. Was driving
it home from a local show and started running terribly, backfiring etc,
barely made it. Opened up the dist and it was full of rust and oxidized
aluminum particles, amazing it ran at all. The car is in dry and sunny So.
CA. Turns out this is a problem with these distributors, as when I called
MSD they first denied it was, but then described how it happens and sent me
a ready-made diagram showing how to drill holes and vent the cap to prevent
it from happening again in the future, and have a service set up to repair
them for 120.00... Did it myself, although I did have to buy a new cap and
rotor. New cap has a vent, surprise... Had to clean the rust and oxidation
from every single part with my Dremel using wire brushes then sandpaper,
then painted the surfaces (except for the inductor rib and pickup faces)
with clear lacquer on their recommendation. Then did a valve adjustment as
the roller rockers were a bit out and it runs like a top.

My 67 Fastback Mustang
participating in the 2008 Shelby Club Vintage Exhibition Race held during
the Mini-Nats celebration at Thunderhill Raceway. This is a great event
that the Nor Cal Shelby Club puts on once a year, and I'm extremely happy
to be a part of it. This video is in three parts due to the length of the
