Feels like a Porsche? Yes. 1969 AMX - /Big Muscle
When the American Motors Corporation (AMC) released the AMX back in 1969
the motoring world didn't know what to make of it. It had two seats like a
sports car, a solid live axle and a raucous V8 like a muscle car, and
styling that could've gone either way. Owner Jimi Day has been a long time
fan of the AMX so when he got the opportunity to construct his own he
pulled out all the stops, went buck-ass wild, and built what is arguably
one of the best AMX's on the planet Earth.
The Cars of Mark Donohue
Some of the cars that Mark Donohue made famous. Included in the video are
several of his Trans Am Camaro's, his Championship Trans
Am Javelin, and the last car he ever won a race in, his IROC Porsche 911.
Filmed the Mark Donohue Reunion at Road America during the Kohler
International Challenge with Brian Redman, July 15, 2010.

1973 AMC Javelin AMX
When is a Javelin also an AMX? Jack Boughton explains how he came to own
this unique 401 cubic inch Javelin/AMX and what he's done since the day he
drove it off the lot when it was brand new. Lance Lambert, host of
television's "Vintage Vehicle Show", learns why, among other things, the
interior of Jack's car is so unusual. More information about the "Vintage
Vehicle Show" can be found at www.vintagevehicletv.com.
