Drag Racing: porsche 944 VS Nissan Leaf
Drag Racing: many videos along at the mason dixon dragway the most nissan
leaf vs 3 other vehicles. the very first is an electric delorean, the
second is an electric porsche 944, the third and final vehicle may be a
1991 Toyota MR2 (SW21)
I bought this car in late September of 2011 for $1500 on craigslist. It has
225,000 miles, and runs pretty good for its age. It needs some work though
too. The shocks and springs are the originals, the transmission has a bit
of a "whine" to it, and the newer tires it came with have flat spots on
them... Other then that the rest is all cosmetic work. It has a few dings
here and there, the paint is oxidizing, and the seats are worn out. I know
I want to replace the shocks and springs, and buy a 3rd gen 3SGTE (probably
the whole rear clip). Eventually I will get to cosmetic stuff but for now I
am just concerned with the mechanical reliability. I want to keep the
Aquamarine Pearl paint color and maybe add a TOM's kit.

Onboard Birkett 2011 - Malcolm Edeson Toyota MR2 (MK2) Fastest Lap (2:34) & Race Finish
http://www.driver-coaching.com - Onboard with me on the very last lap of
the Birkett 6Hr Relay held at Silverstone GP Circuit (Historic Layout).
Despite traffic this turned out to be my fastest race lap. Haivng not
really driven the car before the race and not having much of an idea of
best tyre pressures etc. I found I was running them too high. In my 2nd run
I dropped them a good 3-4 psi each end and they were much better.
Unfortunately at the start of my 2nd stint I suffered a broken wheel and
had to limp back to the pits. Once the wheel had been replace I did 3 more
laps, made up 8-10 places and on this the last lap set a best time of
2:34.89 which looking at the results was the best time of any of the
regular MR2 Championship cars (although my student and 2011 Championship
winner James Cross said he also did a 2:34). This was despite carrying
20ltrs of fuel more than I needed as I had fueled for 1hr as there was the
possibility I'd have to run that long.
Video is captured on a Video4 setup from Race-Technology. I use this system
extensively in my driver coaching where we are able to compare data & video
down to minute detail to help the driver improve at a faster rate.

MR2 vs AUDI TT first Drag Race EVER!
This was my first time on the track with my car. As you all can see my
nervs were getting the best of me! Anyone that knows me will say I rarely
beat on my car! But I couldn't let my friend in the AUDI call me out!
Specs: The car is a 91 n/a converted to 98 spec minus the wing and RHD
conversion. It is pretty much stock car the 3rd gen 3sgte just hast the
basic bolt ons. at the time of this video the car would not Boost past 14psi?

This is the most dangerous car ever made and it is also a perfect
