The Scorpion supercar blends the world of exotic 200 mph performance cars with eco-friendly fuel solutions. The biggest appeal of the eco-friendly supercar is the innovative engineering it utilizes to reduce CO2 emissions and improve gas mileage. All this is made possible by Ronn Motor Companys exclusive Hydrogen Fuel Injection (HFI) system, which directly injects hydrogen into the motor. Fuel mileage is Boosted 20-40% with nearly no CO2 emissions. The Scorpion encompasses the vision of Ronn Motor Companys CEO, Ronn Maxwell, and his love for the automotive form. His styling cues are a combination of European exotics and American muscle. The carbon fiber body of the Scorpion is as functional as it is beautiful with its curvy and muscular elements that give it an aggressive stance. Visit ronnmotors.com & dubmagazine.com for more info. This Isn't Your Grandma's Ford Taurus
Ford specifically chose DUB to debut its 2010 Ford Taurus at the L.A. kick
off event for the Monster Energy 2009 DUB Show Tour on Sunday, March 22.
Ford gave us only 24 hours to create our special DUB Edition 2010 Ford
Taurus and weve created quite a head turner. We tinted the windows, threw
on some DUB badges, lowered the suspension and added a fine pair of wheels
and tires to dramatically change the already sleek look of the car. The
Taurus features a sculpted hood, pronounced front fenders, and character
lines that run front to back ending at the tall trailing edge of the rear
fenders. Go to
for more on the 2010 Ford Taurus SHO.
The World's First 2009 Widebody Dodge Challenger
Check out the world's first wide-body 2009 Dodge Challenger that was custom
built by expertise fabricator Topo and JW Motorsports in Bellflower,
California. The Challenger was a crowd favorite at this year's SEMA and
features 24-inch front and 26-inch rear custom-built Asanti wheels. What
they did was bring out the body four inches to fit that 7-inch lip. They
also lowered the suspension and added custom Exhaust for more horsepower. At night, the
cars reflectors make it more noticeable and give it a bit of personality
when rolling down the street. Check out dubmagazine.com for more info.

2009 LSE Coupe: The World's First 2-door Range Rover Sport
The 2009 LSE Coupe may look like a Range Rover Sport, but its two doors
(instead of four) let you know this is quite a unique vehicle. Built by LSE
Design UK, the LSE Coupe will officially be unveiled at the 2008 SEMA Show.
Starting at a base price of $250,000, LSE owners can fully customize their
ride to their specific likings. Only 200 units will be built worldwide,
with just 50 making their way to the States. Check out dubmagazine.com and

Rinspeed's first underwater Car
Rinspeed will present its new sQuba, the worlds first diving car, at the
Geneva Motor Show (March 6-16). The car is not only able to drive on roads
autonomously with a push of a button (thus without a driver, passenger or
further assistance), but can also transform into an amphibious vehicle
which can be submerged in water up to 10 meters (33 feet). An electric
motor with powerful torque drives the rear wheels, while the propulsion on
the water is ensured by two propellers in the stern and two powerful jet
drives in the bow propelling the vehicle under water while diving. When
underwater, the driver and passenger are enclosed in the vehicle thanks to
light weight body components made of futuristic Carbon Nano Tubes and are
supplied with fresh breathing air by the self-contained on-board system.

Magnetic hybrid motorbike unveiled in Japan
A Japanese vehicle manufacturer unveiled the prototype of a new electric
motorbike carrying a hybrid magnetic motor, which can run almost
noiselessly up to 180 kilometres (112 miles) on one charge. Tokyo-based
Axle Corporation says that the battery of the next-generation electric
vehicle motorbike can be charged at home, in the same way as a cellular
phone. It takes a little over 6 hours to fully charge the battery, and the
vehicle's maximum speed is capable of reaching 150 kilometres per hour (93
miles per hour).
The company says the futuristic motorbike enjoys high energy efficiency
thanks to a state-of-the-art magnetic motor which is a hybrid between a
electromagnet and a permanent magnet. The new motor, called SUMO, short for
"super motor," is housed inside the bike's rear wheel. The manufacture says
the new motor is seven-times more cost efficient than gas-powered scooters.
Daisuke Ito, a professional racer who test rode the EV-X7 prototype, said
it could potentially replace machines we now see in motor races. "I just
feel that in the near future, we'll be seeing these kinds of electric
motorbikes running all around town. And when that happens, conventional
vehicles could disappear from motor racing, too, and well be competing only
in electric vehicles."
