My brother's truck is finally up and going after a year of work. It used to have a near stock 351 Windsor in it. Now it has a Windsor block with Cleveland heads and is stroked to 427 cu. in. This was the first time we had it at the track since we got it running and it was having some traction issues off the line all night. It was also sputtering a little so he had to hammer it at the light, let off, and hammer it again to get it to take off right. With those issues fixed, it'll easily run in the 7s. It already ran an 8.14 that night.

Since the last video, my brother replaced his rear suspension from leaf
springs to a ladder bar system with coil overs. It's definitely getting way
better traction now.

We took the box off to weld it up and also to clean the frame. I'm
guessing the absence of it's weight helped a little with the burnout, too.

On the first hole of the day at Louisiana Mudfest, Brian Briggs
(TheMudbogger79) showers down on that skinny. Unfortunately there was
another truck stuck in the path of his roost. While trying to move out of
the way, the entire 4-link setup completely cratered when the driver
spooled up and dumped the clutch. The aftermath wasn't pretty. Too bad it
was the first day!
