But how do you keep the leaf springs from binding you ask? Ah...there is a special way to do it, and if you want to find out what it is...you need to catch this episode of GearZ. Knuckle Buster Returns [S3 Ep.12-1]
IT'S BA-A-A-A-A-ACK! That's right! The "KnuckleBuster" is back on GearZ, and Stacey is putting the final touches on this '73 Chevy pickup. After a quick look at the new paint slathered on its flanks, Stacey gives the truck a face lift with grille, bumpers, and all that other cool trim stuff. Then it's on to the bed where he lays in some oak to give the former "beater" some class and style. Finally, it's underneath to stick in a new Exhaust system to keep the bad gas blowing out the back. If you have ever wondered if you could really build something cool yourself... all you have to do is check out the finished "KnuckleBuster" and be willing to bust YOUR own knuckles... the rest will take care of itself!!

Old Trucks and Other Junk [S5 Ep.12-3]
Today on GEARZ, Stacey rolls in an old '67 Ford pickup that has been hacked on over the years, and shows how to get rid of the old afterthought floor shifter, and convert it to a column shift that will actually shift gears! After that, Stacey digs into one of the newest fuel injection units on the market and shows how easy it is to install, and then demonstrates how to shave the drip rail off of your muscle car. Finally, we answer the question: Is it possible to put chrome plating on aluminum or stainless steel? We take a trip to Advance plating in Nashville to find out. There's so much stuff going on, you're gonna need to watch this show twice!

Heavy Metal - Engine Mounts [S4 Ep.9-3]
Today on GEARZ, Stacey rolls in that old International Cab over Truck, and starts a project called Heavy Metal. The project not only showcases people that work with their hands for a living, but also represents the Navy's Blue Angels precision flying team. The first order up for business is to get some serious power into the truck and that involves Stacey stuffing a hot-rodded Duramax Diesel engine and Allison transmission into the old beast. If you have ever wondered what it takes to retro-fit a big diesel engine into a project, and if there are parts available to make it happen... this show will not only answer those questions, but also encourage you to do it!

The V8 Barstool [S2 Ep. 4-3]
In the world of hot rodding, when gear heads gather around and start discussing their projects, invariably the conversation drifts into speculation of what the smallest thing is that you can successfully put a V8 engine in. Well today on GEARZ, Stacey pretty much puts an end to that speculation by building a V8 powered BARSTOOL!! It's part go-cart... part garden tractor... part insane... and ALL hot rod. Which of course is what GEARZ is all about! If you like WILD.. then you don't want to miss this show! Then Stacey dives into some Muffler Tech to show you what kind of mufflers there are on the market, and give you some tips that might help you make the right decision when the time comes to stick some cool mufflers on your machine!

Junkyard Truck [S4 Ep.2-1]
On this episode, Stacey goes where all of us have been before to pull an old derelict SEMI TRUCK ('69 Loadstar/International) out of a quiet junkyard to demonstrate the steps necessary to get an old, neglected vehicle running again. From rat's nests to chicken poop, it's all here as Stacey slowly coaxes the old truck back to life. This show definitely drives the point home that if something like this can be revived, there's NOTHING that you should be afraid to tackle as long as you are armed with a set of tools and a sense of adventure! Go get 'em!

The new Challenger vs. the World [S3 Ep.8-1]
Some of the biggest news to come down the automotive pipeline in a long time is the fact that Dodge is making the Challenger again. But how does it stack up against the legendary Challengers of old? Well, Stacey decided to find out! First, by "grabbing" a Challenger in a most unorthodox way... and then comparing it head-to-head with a 70'440 six-pack car. But that's not all... Then Stacey decided to take the new car beyond the legend by sticking on a Supercharger and really blowing the doors off of the competition! If you are a Mopar nut, or have just wondered what all the fuss was about concerning the new Challenger... this is one show you've got to see!

The Knuckle Buster (Part 2) [S3 Ep.2-4]
Today on GearZ, Stacey jumps back into the "KnuckleBuster" project and deals with an area we can all relate to...a sick engine and transmission. But instead of getting rid of that old worn out vehicle, you can bring it back to life by stuffing in a new engine and transmission. Stacey walks you through the steps to show you just how easy this can be. You have to be willing to bust your knuckles some and get your hands a little dirty! After that, Stacey puts on the gloves and shows you how to perform a little surgery on a tired rear-end in order to get the traction that only a locker can supply. Make sure to turn your head and cough!

The Knuckle Buster (Part 3) [S3 Ep.3-3]
Everybody knows that the area most prone to wear and tear on your vehicle is the interior. Well, that's OK because today Stacey shows you how to dig into one and bring it back to life without spending a fortune. Whether you just need carpet, door panels, or a complete overhaul, this is something you can do with your own two hands if you are not afraid to get dirty. Then, it's on to the place you spend most of your time...the seat! As Stacey goes through the steps of reuphostering your old rag-tag seat, you'll see it can be made as good as new! If you are tired of driving around with an old ratty interior and don't know what to do, this episode of GEARZ is for you!
