Saab 900 Turbo Holset HX35 - Mustang dyno at altitude

Recent STI vs Evo shootout at Ziptie Dynoworks, in Salt Lake City, UT. Only changes vs the last time, on a Dynojet, are in the tune. At altitude, so the uncorrected numbers much lower just as expected, as well as the "Mustang" factor. Pleased with the results, despite the above.

Saab 900 Turbo Holset HX35 - 18psi 392whp
Boost request set at 22psi. That level reached prior to these pulls but no longer able to due to hardware issues that need to be addressed. Video clips shot directly after tune, spark plugs in horrible condition and possibly a dying Boost controller (BPC). More later after maintenance items are complete.





Saab B205 62mm Dyno Run 710whp
Found a bit more with the improved intake manifold and head on the b205. R14 on the spring, then playing with Boost control to flatten it out. Check Out trolltuner to read the rest of the fun we had.

2010 Subaru STI SE vs Saab 900 Turbo Holset HX35
Friendly race with a friend's 2010 Subaru Impreza STI Special Edition. I went from ~60mph to ~110mph which is where I top out in 3rd. The Subaru is stock, the Saab is a 1997 Saab 900 turbo with a Holset HX35 from a '98 Dodge Ram running about 20psi. The MAP sensor is iffy and there isn't enough fuel to support anymore pressure. Well past due for a second fuel pump.

My first Dyno after converting to turbo. Fuel and spark map are largely un-adjusted since the Supercharger, so there is a lot of room left for improvement. Running a Holset hx35 turbo @ 15psi.
