1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster
This classic 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL Roadster is finished in Green Pearl.
This is the last year of the classic W113 body. Power is courtesy of a 2.8
litre 6-cylinder engine. This example has been treated to a rotisserie
restoration by Bud's Benzs in Douglasville, Georgia. It is a pristine
European classic car. These cars replaced the iconic 300SL Gullwing and
190SL! Enjoy the ride! A special thanks is extended to Texas Classic Cars
of Dallas. - Samspace81 aka Sam

This is a very special car with all of the best upgrades! A two year
frame-off restoration was completed in 2004 and very few miles put on the
car since. The motor was completely rebuilt with a Model B Exhaust manifold and Stromberg carburetor for
added power. Also fitted with Riley racing head and a dual spark ignition
as well as a Model A crank to easily handle the extra horsepower. Car starts with
the turn of the key; runs and drives great. The Ruckstell rear end and
Borg-Warner overdrive provide for relaxed cruising. The Fatman steering
wheel make getting in and out a tad easier. The paint is nicely done with a
deep shine, interior is immaculate and the top folds up and down easily.
The bottom of the car is as clean as the top! This is a really nicely done
Model T that you won't have to fuss with. Just start having fun this spring
and summer! I can get excellent shipping rates and have a clear California
title in hand! I have many more pictures and video at the link above check
it out and give me a call!
