This HD Feature is chapter 6 with the Grand Finale' chapter from the Movie, GLADWIN THUNDER "Race Day", that was filmed on Sun. May 22nd 2011, at Zettel Memorial Airport in Gladwin Mi. The official event is called "Thunder On The Strip" and typically includes a Car Show on Saturday and the Drag Race on Sunday.
The GLADWIN THUNDER "Race Day" Section, is split up into two sections for the web and features "Street legal Cars" which includes Classic Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, Dad's Van, Mom's SUV, the Kid's Beater, Grandma's Sports Car, and Grandpa's Truck, along with Professional Race Cars, Dragsters, Jr. Dragsters and a few surprises.

Drag Racing the C6 Corvette
My first 1/4 mile Drag Race at Union Grove WI with the 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour. My buddy Dan was my co pilot. The Big Block Camaro red lighted so I won the race. The car was running on 87 octane because that's all that was available because the Hot Rod Power Tour ran the gas station out of premium. Enjoy the video!

FIRST OFF I KNOW THE VID IS LONG BUT WATCH ALL OF IT, IT'S WORTH IT. This is the first, of my videos of my Knight Rider Replica. It all started with a 1982 Firebird Trans Am that I found sitting beside a guys barn. It was there for a year or so but was previously stored for the past 23 years in a garage. The project is going great so far I am starting with the exterior first as the interior needs no restoration with the car only having 48,000 miles on it and is mint inside. This summer I hope to get the KITT nose and taillight blackouts.
